It’s reported widely that Stefano has a get out clause if they don’t make the 8 or if he doesn’t play a certain amount of origins.

But I suppose until his contract is published you can continue in your endless spiteful counterfactuals
It was also reported that Mitchell Pearce has a brother. Whom to believe ffs

It's now reported that Moses has a brother as well...

Pearce, now 34 – and who last played in the NRL in 2021 – confirmed to this masthead a third party had gauged his interest about a short-term deal with the Eels. Fox Sports reported the third party was Stephen Moses, Mitchell’s brother.

Thanks @Legal Eel. Read/ heard the same thing.
Remember the club only makes the right decision on everything. I know this because we kept getting told this

he wass a lazy prick in cup when I saw him, Tigpies took a gamble paying big money for a young kid and to their credit they made a good call

There were issues - personal/family...I'm sure ppl know the story...
I doubt he would be back if the current coach is here

Stefano left 4 years ago.

What's he won 2 x spoons and the closest he has come to a final is being 19th man for Parramatta in 2020.

He left with a shit attitude at the time and sulked.

I couldn't care less how his career turns out if he wanted to stay he would have stayed.

Not always...don't be ridiculous
None of them are ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ decisions. They are just decisions, each carrying some risk. Even hindsight doesn’t tell us the full story. Was extending Dunster two months before the knee injury the wrong decision? Was it the right decision to sign any player if we paid too much? Do any of us deadshits know how much any of them are paid? Are we really better at judging management decisions than the club?

I wish you’d stop all this talk of right/wrong decisions because you merkins are getting semen everywhere.

What if we had matched the Tigers offer or even gotten close to it? Would that have been enough? Players go to clubs like Wests because they are motivated solely by money.

But would it have been beneficial to us to continually be paying him top dollar? It could’ve cost us some of our current talent. The best players at struggling clubs are likely all top earners in the league. Utoikamanu would be one of the best paid forwards in the game.

Well noted management where to slow and also lost Doorey and Mooney around same time.
Yeah they would’ve added plenty to our pack back then ffs. They are still both reserve graders, three years later.

Good clubs don’t match overs to keep their own players.
