The way I see it and with what we currently have, I'd like to see our front 3 spine doing more in attack. That would make it easier for Gutho to chime in and add something.

I suppose my point was that without Gutho, we may have a worse fullback that costs us points. Gutho pretty much costs us no points. Ever.

It's not his job to get early ball when the defence is shot. He is just there to keep his edge steady and get the ball to better players. You don't bring in a backup and give him all the good ball.

In saying this, today was very good for our for and against. Newcastle were rubbish and didn't really threaten our goal line yet when they did, we were solid. A plus 37 on our f and a was excellent.
It was what I expected we should do today against a team like the Knights if we are expected to be contenders.
As I said before, we should have done this to the Tigers last week. A valuable 2 points lost that was.

Every week he is looking more and more like Andrew Leeds.

If he misses a game it will be interesting to see who plays at fullback when the whole squad is fit.
