Tigers are ahead of them on the ladder. Keen to see where both teams finish the season.

Tigers were lightyears better than the Knights today. Great completion rate and effective with the ball and without. Knights were none of those. Still, if we played last week like we did today we'd have won easily. Good lesson I guess.

My thoughts on the game.
We showed much better desire, commitment and attitude today.
Matterson was outstanding, mahoney ran the ball more. Dylbro could play prop and would excel. The kid is a beast.
Papalii was on too.
Makatoa was a lot more potent today and I'll even give kaufusi a wrap.
Simonsson the more I see the more I like.
Well done Perham. Nothing outstanding but never let us down.
Lastly happy Easter to the orthodox faithful celebrating today

Who said he's a star? He's just the perfect backup half. Comes in and does his job. We haven't lost a game with him this year. That's what you want from a backup.

Newcastle on the road was always tough we always seemed to lose up there.

We have won 3 on the trot up there for the first time ever so no longer a bogey ground and last 2 seasons have been spankings.

If BA is fair dinkum, Perham has just cemented himself a spot as our 14. There’s simply no reason to have Jake in the 17 unless either Drown or Moses are injured.

I don't think we need to be making rush decisions after one game where we flogged the opposition. Wingers always look great when their team has all the ball.

Missed tackles ( like a lot of slightly built halves granted), forward passes, unforced errors, perplexing kicks.... He's a handbrake pure and simple.

Midnight mass with the family and just got back from a great lunch with the in-laws whilst watching the game eating sweets, sipping coffee and having shots of rakija.

Good win. Most pleasing aspect was the straight running and game management. Moses was great today. Knights were very poor, don't see how O'Brien lasts this season.

Not sure why Reg needed to come back on at all. I would have given him a well deserved rest to get his ankle back closer to 100%.
