Drown looked fine last week and I reckon he would've looked just as garbage as everyone else tonight but more often because he would be getting more ball.
But Sean Russell was picked ahead of Arthur last time they were both available? Why would it be a MASSIVE f**kEN LOL@POU if it happens again? I'm happy with whatever selection the coach makes. It's his team.
When have we ever scored points from shifting the ball before earning the right? Just because we're near the opposition try line doesn't mean we've earned the right to spread the ball. Arthur/Moses threw fewer passes last week despite the big score. We needed to stay patient.
Which posts? There's good reasons for everything mate. There's reasons to pick Jake Arthur and reasons to not pick him. Not every decision is easy but we should respect them.
Did we not have any players unavailable in round one? I'm pretty sure Sivo, Dunster and Niukore were unavailable. The one time any of those three was available this year Jake Arthur played reserve grade. It's a small sample but so is the evidence you've used to form your opinion ffs
Like I've said before, it's not a backup's job to be any better than a backup. They just need to come in and do their job, which isn't to be the star attraction. You admit the forwards were shit tonight, and might even admit that Moses and Gutherson were as well behind that pack but somehow hold the backup to a higher standard. And you've got the nerve to call others disingenuous?
We scored even more against the Knights, with Drown playing centre. Unfortunately the Cowboys have much better defence than those two teams.
Well my point is sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Maybe Jake Arthur isn't the determining factor in why we only scored one try last night? It didn't seem to stop us scoring six last week, which was more than we scored the week before against Wests, without Arthur in the team. With such a small sample you can't pick and choose the outlier.
And also in one of our best performances this year. And also missed another of our shit performances. Is there any correlation at all ffs? All we know is he is a backup. If he's playing it's because better players are unavailable. You'd expect us to perform worse than if they were available to play.

If he was a top 17 player he would've played every game he was available. He also would've played every game when everyone else was available. He has done neither.
Well you like to point out how much better they are, and I agree. But if they're capable of disappointing losses why should it be out of the question for us?
There was no room for him to run the ball, but last week Moses ran plenty. Even Arthur's took the tackle when the pass wasn't on:

They normally decide the ladder after the final round. Then they just count wins and losses. They don't pretend some meant more than others.
Passing inside the red zone isn't the be all and end all of scoring points. You need to score them however you can and they're all worth four points.
He has played every game he was available, he didn't come on in round 2 because he had appendicitis. Otherwise he has been picked every single time bar the Tigers game when Daddy gave him one whole game in reserves to prove he was worthy of shunting our untalented utility to the centres. He was picked in the 17 in the Penrith trial and round 1 with just Dunster out so this BS about injuries is just typical BS.

Dunster and Sivo and Niukore all unavailable. The one game Niukore was available Arthur wasn't in the 17. He also didn't come on in round one until Russell was injured.
Why would I believe that? We have scored more tries than anyone except Melbourne and Penrith this year and most of those from inside the 20. We have the third most linebreaks as well, equal with Penrith. Some of them probably were from inside the 20m zone.
Right. So if your team is able to consistently attain field position in the opposition 20m zone but can’t get over the line then there is a problem no?
