But they need to go hard after Bevan French. He's looking to return to Australia and would be a great Fullback at the Dolphins.

A big No to this guy, great tryscorer but lacking everything else he needs to me an NRL fullback. What is Lachlan Millers contract situation? He would be the player I would be going after for a long term prospect at fullback. If he is not a starting fullback (or half) at an NRL club next season then I have little faith in NRL scouts, if on contract at sharks he is a prime candidate for a loan deal if he is not first choice at sharks.

This is a good signing imo.

I would also hand out a few development contracts out to a few PNG hunters players as well.

BENNETT’S DOLPHINS CIRCLING DRAGONS FORWARD

The Dolphins have responded to claims Bennett is eying another raid on a former club.
According to Nine’s Wide World of Sports, the master coach is lining up a play for Dragons second-rower Jaydn Su’A.
It comes amid reports Su’A is unhappy at the Dragons and recently requested a release.
Bennett and Su’A already have a prior history as the Dolphins boss coached him at the Rabbitohs from 2019 to 2021.
The Dolphins, however, refuted Su’A was on their radar when approached by The Australian’s Brent Read.
Spoken to Dolphins. They say they have never spoken to Jaydn Su’A and his name has never been discussed.

Far too many are either promoted to early or thrown onto the scrap heap.

And there's only so many rep schoolboy places available each year! Be good to see better scouting systems, some clubs seem to do it very well and have great success unearthing the diamonds other clubs passed over as they thought they were just glass.

halves look ok. Milford has found a bit of form in an underperforming Knights team. O'Sullivan getting good experience at the Panthers.

Pack and bench looks ok, full of toilers though....

I think they'll be lucky to avoid the spoon unfortunately...
