Broome Bears sounds good, and about as close to perth as I’d want NS lol.
Don't lie to yourself, if the red and black, grace your coast, you'd take it with both arms, especially since theyll play vs the storm at some stage at hbf...
Hell they might even wear the wa reds jersey

They will struggle for players and can’t rely upon juniors

it will take funding like the storm had and the arlc aren’t giving them any salary cap exemptions

players won’t want to go there like afl players struggle to stay at the nsw and qld clubs
That's right . Who's would be their feeder clubs? A lot of flights for fringe players.
Look at the pathways Penrith have now. Perth wouldn't come close to that for 100 years.

And people complain about me derailing threads lol
It's a discussion about an expansion teams recruiting, that leads to examples of other expansion prospects and possible recruitment.

Big derailment lol

Perhaps it exposed Perths biggest flaw...🤔
" Perth red" doesn't want to talk about Perth anymore 🤣

Here’s an idea, talk about the dolphins on the dolphins thread and come over to the numerous expansion threads if you want to discuss perth. Novel idea I know!

Lets hope they are playing newcastle or the tigers rd 1 and not a good team lol.

For the sake of expansion we need them to be good in their first 3 years and not get pumped every week!
Don't think you read the last line of the article there PR... im pretty sure they are strong enough to be mid table

Funny how you're pro promotion and relegation where teams get a couple of months to put together a roster.... yet complete downplay the Dolphins roster after a year and a half 🤔

Let's call it how it is shall we?
You hate the franchise system because it awarded a team to the Dolphins instead of Perth and as such hate the Dolphins.

Just move to the east coast. Everything and everyone is here.
Even with a Perth team, you'll only get 12 games 🤷‍♂️ and if you thought the greatest coach around couldn't amass a roster worthy of you in Brisbane just imagine what kind of roster some nobody on the other side of the continent! with no feeder teams, no juniors and no following will attract...

I'm not pro P&R, I can see its pros and cons. In same way I can see pros and cons of licensing.

I dont hate anything, stop getting so emotional lol

What's wrong with being emotional?
On a rock spinning though the universe with a very finite lifespan and you want to be on the fence? Emotionless?
f**k that lol

Bennett's week goes from bad to worse

Wayne Bennett's bad week has got even worse with one of the game's best young prospects doing a backflip on a deal with the Dolphins for next year.

The Dolphins believed they had an agreement with Harrison Hassett, the Penrith SG Ball player of the year.

But the Australian Schoolboys star now looks set to remain with the Panthers.

His decision will only rub salt in Bennett's wounds after he came close to signing marquee player Cameron Munster, only for the brilliant utility back to decide to remain with the Melbourne Storm on a long-term deal.

Hassett is a rangy second-rower who can break the line and also hit hard in defence.

The Panthers see the youngster as a future first-grader and worked hard to keep him on board.

Question to LU Mod and Admin team.
Considering the Dolphins are coming into the competition in the next season will this sub forum be moderated as per other team sub forums.

That is, will trolling by other team fans be moderated and so obvious trolls like Perth Red who supposedly supports the storm have his incessantly negative posts above the Dolphins deleted etc?

Fair enough for fans of other clubs to spitball and discuss all things Dolphins when they had just arrived but now you'd think this forum should be a place for Dolphins fans, and those other fans who enter team forums in good spirits rather than a troll haven.

I'm sure other forums, for example the dragons, tigers or eels don't tolerate trolls like Perth Red constantly derailing threads or belittling clubs. So should it happen here?

I also think they have specific threads where irrelevant posts or troll posts are moved.

Can I suggest the Dolphins forum moderating team create one and call it the shallow end - a place where Dolphins don't go.

Good luck in your first season Dolphins and dolphans.

I don't think you actually know what a real troll is. Perth red is no troll.
He adds content, links and debate.
Just because you don't agree with someone- doesn't make them a troll.
