Yeah I know. Bennett can turn him into something I guess.

PF shouldn’t be anywhere near first grade. He has feet for hands

Kerr should fulfil the specific role Bennett has for him, can change games off the bench potentially.
There's something there, just hoping for 1 or 2 more to bolster the pack that bit extra next year.

There is a beast in there somewhere. Wayne has always liked him.

I have wait d some time for that beast to appear. Hopefully it’s at the dolphins

A few years back when dragons were on the rise, and penrith wasn't as much we always had tight games, talking maybe 2017-2018, josh kerr came on off the bench and killed our middles, he isn't that bad, and is better than most of the plodders on the market..

Josh Kerr has really improved this year imo. He has cut out the errors but still has an offload. Which coincides with Hook abandoning his daft plan to turn him into an 80 min edge forward.

I’ll be wit and see. As you can tell I am not a massive wrap on Kerr. Or any forward that wears the Red V. Only forward at Saints I would want is Su’A

I'm surprised Kerr wasn't signed for 2023. He's a local junior, Bennett selected him in his Origin camp and he's that type of player expansion clubs tend to gamble on. Promising players who can score tries who for whatever reason didn't play their best footy at a struggling club. It reminds me so much of Mark Minichiello and what he brought to the Titans early on. He'll be 28 too, so he's at that age where his best footy could still be infront of him.

There's a report going around that the Dolphins are interested in Latu Fainu. He's rated as one of the best junior halves coming through, he's currently at Manly but he's been given permission to negotiate with other clubs.

His brother Samuela may also be a package deal.

The report suggests that the Tigers are favourites, but if the Dolphins land him that's another quality signing.

Manly just offloaded a few juniors to the Dragons for Woods.

Shedding youngsters.

Having another good half to partner Katoa would be great long term planning.

Squad looking good for next year. I just want a true marquee, to springboard us.
What's a Marquee? Is that when you pay an overrated player a ton of money for little result. I'm just happy that the Dolphins didn't sign Brandon Smith or Ponga. And as old mate said, Hammer is now a Marquee Player.

Tesi Niu re-signs till the end of 2024.

Good move by the Dolphins. Niu has had a checkered career but there's talent there and if he can have a big off-season it'll really bolster the Dolphins backline.
