Well yeah, 100% we did. I'd love to think that, and the bond he's formed with his mates will count for something at the bargaining table. I don't expect it to, however, given the desire to live on the Gold Coast.

I bagged Curran early for his discipline but I love the bloke now. And I say that partly (mostly) because of his passion for the Warriors and how he's performed for us, but also now that I know he's bagged our government.

Agreed, he was never gonna be a long term Warrior. I just honestly didnt expect the chat to start after half a season, thats super early.

It's incredibly early, but having worked in the media and seen it all before...I knew it would start that early. Probably because like us, they knew (thought, whatever) his contract would be his only one with the Warriors and everyone would be getting their ducks in a row to sign him whenever they could - legally or not.
