remember when...

I was at that grand final, and really hoping for a Storm win (it was not until later we all learned to hate the Storm...). I thought they were very unlucky, Brisbane got so many calls in their favour, and even as a non Storm fan I was very frustrated.

Years later and looking back, I'm so glad the Broncos won...

Hopefully with the Eels punishment done and dusted, I can naively hope the comp may actually not be affected by rorting the cap, for the first time in 15 or so years.

Nah...cap rorting and all, I still wish the Storm had won.

We would have been hated eventually even if we didn't get caught I reckon. It's fun to hate successful sides haha

That Storm team was cheating the cap by some margin. You compare it player for player with the Broncos, who won, and it doesn't seem the Broncos are all that "inferior" in player values...

Very true.

Bring on the hate, I say. It means your team is going well.

Remember when you had to wait until 9.30 for the delayed fox sports game on sat night?

I'm sure cowboys fans will
Between 2012-2014 souths had some success meaning channel 9 regularly wanted us on friday night's. The problem for me was that because i lived in the NT, which for some reason is considered Queensland we always got a Broncos game first. And Brisbane were such a boring team then. You'd have to sit through a shit Broncos game to watch a delayed telecast (with those long ass ad breaks). At least cowboys got ad free games ( although from memory andy raymond used to commentate the late fox game so we probably did have it better.)
