Robinson doesn't need to say Casty was signed purely for depth. He's coming cheap and we've got better players than him already. He will wear the Royal Blue at Marrickville a lot in 2014.

I would not put money on that TT about Casty. People were saying similar about Sam Moa last off season.

None, because he wasn't even near the top half. The fact that Moa and O'Donnell get games in the NRL (apparently the best team) is enough to show that Casty will have no issues at all making it into first grade, which was the point.

Nobody said anything about him being in the top tier, he's never been as good as say Burgess or Graham in SL, but comparing him to other NRL forwards that used to be in SL he's easily better than Moa, O'Donnell, Fa'aoso, Newton, Fa'alogo, Lima etc. As someone who watches most matches of the NRL on top of the SL, I'd be surprised if Casty isn't the Roosters' best prop after JWH next year.

Firstly, I'm well aware that you're either a troll or seriously just plain stupid (always hard to tell on the internet). The apparently was on the basis that you won the NRL, I wasn't questioning it, it was proven. I'd be very surprised if the Roosters don't put a score on Wigan, they've lost a bunch of key players over the last few years (and were crap before that). Quite simply it would be a bit pathetic if the top NRL team with way more money than any SL side didn't win (though I really doubt you'll get 50).

If you consider LODs form this year to be fantastic, firstly: :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
Secondly you'll be very happy with Casty next year playing instead of that waste of space, so I don't know why you're complaining - especially as you got him cheaply.

I have, he's been carried. I know you guys are fans so you think that all your players are superstars (until you lose), when really its only ever a few great players per team. O'Donnell is not a particularly good player, and hasn't been anything remotely special this year. He's just been another forward in an efficient pack.

You will not find this out until 2014 because you haven't seen Casty play. I have seen Casty play ... hence this thread was started.

I'll stop short of judging him purely because I'd love nothing more than for him to become another Sam Moa.

If we lose LOD and FPN continues to bludge after his new contract then we'll really need Casty to fire.

But yes, underwhelming so far in the RLWC to say the least.
