Wonder who the scaredy white kitten is ?

I know I've seen it somewhere but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

The blue and white one next to the Pink Panther looks like Benny the Ball from Top Cat.

Its Doraemon, a robotic cat, i googled blue cartoon cats and eventually got to it.

I used to play in a proper band and we would have gone ballistic with joy playing the Top Cat and Jetson themes.

Especially those show off trumpets.

Abba medley was about as raucous as we got.

I did see the wondrous Andy Sommers play guitar once at Oxford street. Beautiful sharps and flats. Tears to eyes. An angel hung on each note.

Mr Jinx, Nermal [from Garfield ] Hobbs [from Calvin and Hobbs], Snagglepuss, Tigger [from Winnie the Pooh ], Snowbell [the Simpson cat], the Cheshire cat from Alice In Wonderland, just to name a few.

It is a great mural no matter how you look at it and i love seeing it every time i go past it.

Not quite the same but many many years ago having a late night/early morning drink at the Courthouse hotel at Taylor Square Billy Field was there and he launched into Bad Habits, so much fun and totally unexpected.

No, too modern lol.

But you listen to these cartoon themes and the raw energy, personality and passion in the performances is sublime.

Especially Top Cat and the Jetsons, these musicians-I can sense they are really getting into their pieces!

Listen to the strings in the jetsons unsure path to that wonderous crescendo, the piano and the horns powering on when the daughter is dropped off.

America in its exceptional musical hey day!
