Now you're telling me you saw the Clash as well? Wow, I really am massively jealous now! I never got to see the Clash but I have seen Mick (with Big Audio Dynamite) and Joe (with his band the Mescalleros)Filthy Lucre Tour circa 1996 at the Horden.
They were out of tune, out of time, it was a musical shambles, chaotic, pushing, jumping, the odd fight, and mindless violence ( no one near me got hurt). There were plenty of goths and pretty punk girls etc as well. My mate disappeared into the masses during holidays in the sun and I didn’t see him for the rest of the night!
I was a student and got a discount ticket.
It was about the best night of my life, certainly the best gig I’ve been to by a long long way ( that includes the reverend Clash!)

Never watched the Henderson Kids, as i was about 22 when it came out but loved Nadine Garner in The Doctor Blake Mysteries and also saw in the stage production of Caberet many years ago at the State Theatre, she is a truly beautiful woman.Had a huge crush on Nadine Garner as a young tacker..

Carry on, togeeeether... great, I will have that earworm now...
Yep, I was working as a Pizza Hut delivery driver at the time and they were a pain in the arse to carry especially up the staircases in small unit blocks. Not exactly childhood for me, mid 90’s, but do you remember these...
They still make it. Woolworths has chocolate Moove listed on their site.
