I remember when the shops at Mascot where shut at 12:00, and the only thing open was the milk bars..

While i was at school i worked at at David Jones in the city and the Saturdays we closed at 12pm that was the late 70s , i worked Thursday night and Saturday mornings

Honestly gutted.

I’m a cricket nut and religiously watched all games as a kid in the 80’s. This guy was the guy to watch in one dayers, and highly under-rated in tests.

now you can’t even get a parking lot and it’s getting an extension.

Tell me about it , we cant use our back dock because of the work being done, we have to bring the pallets in through from the other side of the centre so most of our deliveries come around 7am. I look out my back dock and all i can see is the extension being done and holes in the road. The bridge over to the new extension is going virtually on top of our shop.

My all time favourite Looney Tunes cartoon is the one with the Gambling Bug making the cat play cards against the Bulldog... f**king hilarious, me and my best mate constantly quote that cartoon....
