What ground was that? For some reason I thought Leeds Rhinos only played at Leeds United home ground Elland Road. What is its capacity also?

i'd be interest to hear what the aussies watching thought about the ref and the way he handled the game?

I think he is an excellent ref.

Just on Kallum Watkins, it will be interesting to see if Bluey plays him against Manly.
He has filled out a hell of a lot since i saw him two years ago as a gangly youngster and if he continues to mature physically, he will handle it with ease.

Talking about physical development, wait til you guys see the Burgess Twins, Tom and George (brothers of Sam and Luke). Still 16yo, they are 6 foot 3 and 105 kilos.

To answer a couple of questions:

Spud... Headingleys capacity is now 20,500 due to the Southstand having to have 2k knocked off. They have reinforced the concrete with steel for the bottom half of the stand. On Friday night it was 17,500ish but there must have been some fat f***ers in because the only space I could see was maybe 800 seats in the Carnegie. The rest of the ground was packed in :)

Kalgoorlie... The "5" marked on the pitch is superimposed by Sky to ley you know that its the 5th tackle  Its the same graphic that Fox use in the US for the NFL.

Aparently not but the friday game should be a hell of a lot better than this weeks. 2 teams who should be there or there abouts at the end of the year.

Yeah, this week's game wasn't a good reflection at all of Super League. I'm sure you'll all be a lot more impressed with next week's game.

Oh yeah Wire getting their annual belting from Saints. Can't wait for that predictable result.

I want to see Salford and Celtic. It's Salford's first game back in SL and I want to see Celtic's first win.

And the whole point is that Channel f**king Nein should be showing both games. Otherwise why get the rights if they're just going to show LESS games than Fox did. C**ts.

first game of the season, minus 3c.....don't read to much into the game...come back in march
or April...

or May...

I was over in Bradford last year, there was still snow falling a week into April. As much as I'd love to be over for this season, I'm not going to miss the cold one little bit.

seems to me that we were almost better off with fox. guaranteed 2 games a week played a few times during the week, at decent times such as thursday night.
