and I don't feel there is a need to condemn people for doing something half the population do.

What a load of sh*t. The players are well aware they can be tested anywhere and at any time. They also know very well what the consequences are if they're caught. If they can't handle the fact they'll be subjected to random drug tests then they shouldn't be f**king playing and holding their hand out collecting their massive pay cheques.

Yes I've taken recreational drugs before, but I'm well aware of what the consequences are if I was ever caught and I sure as sh*t wouldn't sook about it if I did while knowing that. It'd be my own stupid fault just like it's his.

Not just half but all Australians have to adhere to the policies of their employer. The NRL has a strict no drugs policy. Reni knew that before he signed with the Sharks and he chose to ignore the policy. He has himself to blame and using the "half the population does it" card is clutching at straws. Depending on which report you read, Reni took either extacy, cocaine or Clenbuterol. Stupid if he took recreational drugs. A cheat if he took a stimulant used to boost muscle mass and reduce body fat.

He still has the B sample to be tested and may still be cleared. Does not look good for him though.

I feel sorry for Cronulla. We know what its like to have one thing pile up on top of another. Surely coaches and clubs will now learn that buying cast offs is a terrible idea.

Most of the time, the 20 year old dickhead trouble maker is still a dickhead troublemaker at 25, and more often than not 30.

Still, I doubt it will stop someone signing Todd Carney. The clubs all live in hope that they can magically reform dickheads.

*sigh* Maybe he can be reformed....

So, are you trying to say you have never taken anything to strip the lard off your fat arse ?

Maybe, maybe not, but then I'm not working under a contract and training regime where I'm going to be tested, have been given a list and training on what is not allowed, and have a manager to hold my hand.

And, its not as if drug testing is new to him, he's been a professional player for how many years?

clenbuterol doesn't increase muscle mass on its own
