Ok peoples, stay tuned. After this weeks results are all done the squad to take on the Kangaroos in the final mid-season rep match will be announced on either Saturday or Sunday accompanied by the unvieling of the ROW team logo! Good luck to everyone...

I have a Hungarian grandfather and a Scottish/English grandmother however RotW looks popular and I've already played a Test for australia so I think I'm ineligible for this. The Roos thread only has around 23 replies as well!

While on the subject of the Haka and NZ, I vividly remember my first trip to NZ, it was to the ski slopes on the North Island (Mt Ruapehu). Now, I knew we were headed to a ski field known as Whakapapa. I got an amusing shock when they did the weather on the radio... as "wh" is pronounced as an "f" in Maori... I thought, they can't say THAT on radio.

Walking into the press room, ROW captain and vice captain El Coconuto and Thierry Henry respectively, step out of the entrance door to the mass camera flashes, and unveil the new Rest Of The World Logo to be carried against the Kangaroos in the one off test match this round.

Team selection to be announced within the next twenty-four hours. All I want to disclaim at this point is that it hasn't been an easy task and Thierry and I have been contemplating in agony over who will take the field. Stay tuned...

Speaking on both myself and Thierry Henry's part, it was an agonising task and it's highly unfortunate that there are only so many positions to go around. There was no end to the quality of folks who wanted in on this and we wish all those who missed selection best of luck with the Tri-Nations Rep Competition at the end of the year.

And now for those who were selected, fire up lads! Let's get this show on the road! :twisted:
