can't expect much more from victorians

I just wanted to point out your utter stupidity for a third time. The bloke was wearing a Bronco's jersey.

Wow, you two are quick. :sarcasm: He posted that after a first glance at it last night. Fair go, he's probably realised his mistake.

Seven reporter bashed outside NRL venue
September 9, 2007 - 11:09PM

A Seven Network journalist was tackled to the ground and punched by two men on live television outside Olympic Park, following the Melbourne Storm's NRL qualifying final win over Brisbane.

Reporter Ben Davis suffered minor injuries in the attack, which occurred as he did a live cross to Seven's Brisbane news bulletin from outside the Melbourne stadium at about 6.20pm (AEST) Sunday, police said.

Police said a group of men was involved in the assault.

One of the men tackled Mr Davis, pushing him to the ground, while another punched the reporter in the back of the head.

The man who tackled him was wearing a Brisbane Broncos guernsey and was described as Caucasian, aged in his early to mid 20s and about 180cm tall with short, dark hair.

The other man was described as being about 30 years with a shaved head, solid build and tattoos on his arms.

Police have released images of the two men, which was captured by Seven's cameras.

Melbourne Storm defeated the Broncos 40-0 in the match.

The crushing defeat revenged the Storm's grand final defeat at the hands of Brisbane last year.

I like the report to say he was "bashed" Please.
I dont condone what they did in the slightest, but it is good to see the over reactions as per the norm.
Timmah, you are on fire mate...give yourself a medal....actual, 2 dozen Krispy Kremes....you deserve it.

Would ''tickled'' be more to your liking?

Did he strip and show his entire body....you can get punched in places other than the face.

You can get punched and not bruise at all.

Seems like youre trying to downplay it if not condoning it.

This was an assault, but not a bashing.
