bit touchy hey phil, surely even you can admit it is an atrocious jumper.

Or maybe even a club that suck millions from a corporation who owns the game and bankrolls them, and cannot stand alone, cannot be financially self sufficient. A club that was borne from super league, and you talk about soul-less, that's funny.

Ohhh, the Storm fans are gonna love that one!

True tho.

That's a really short-sighted approach

The TV broadcasting fees received by the NRL would equate to around $100 million per yar, or a bit over $6 million per team per year.

I would say now that the Melbourne Storm's presence would generate more than their $6 million share of the broadcastnig rights, in effect their profile is subsidising some the suburban backywardoperations running in the southern extremes of Sydney for example.

Their profile is only going to get bigger as well.

Better yet, force them to live in Melbourne.

Sorry, we don't let bogan Queenslanders live south of the border... Queenslanders who *have* made the move, naturally feel socially isolated due to their ignorance, and inevitably relocate to the land of bogan scum (Brisbane)

Hope the knuckle scraper who hassled the reporter live on air woke up this morning and saw himself on the news...good old Brisbane inbreds.

Wow, you two are quick. :sarcasm: He posted that after a first glance at it last night. Fair go, he's probably realised his mistake.
Doubt that poster realises anything substantial.

These gutless pricks are a disgrace to Broncos, QLD and Rugby League, and since i fall into all 3 of those categories it pisses me off even more. I'd love to go one on one with that bald headed dick that ran in for that cheap shot/king hit.

I hope he sues them for all they're worth, probably a combined total of 28 bucks half a bag of goon.

One of the offenders could be seen in the Seven footage wearing a Broncos jersey but Cullen doubted whether he was a Brisbane supporter.

"Sceptics have told me when people do things like that they put the opposition's jumper on to give them a bagging - now I am not suggesting that is the case but it is disappointing (it happened)," he said.

"I wouldn't have thought he was a Broncos supporter as such - it might be someone from Melbourne who bought a jumper and went along.

Oh quick, wipe your hands clear of it all whilst you still can, Bruno.

What a twat.

...If they had half a brain, they'd just front up at the nearest police station and turn themselves in.

I think its pretty clear they don't have a brain cell between them. That's close to the stupidest thing I've ever seen on TV, it will no doubt turn up on "World's Wildest Behaviour Caught on Tape" shows all over the world for the next 10 years - you can just imagine a self righteous American voicing over it with "And downunder alcohol and cameras can be a recipe for violence"

from the same article

A Victorian police spokesman said three men were arrested and interviewed by Melbourne Criminal Investigation Unit detectives yesterday and later released.

Two of the men, a 28-year-old from Docklands and a 25-year-old from Preston, were expected to be charged on summons with one count each of unlawful assault.

The third man, 23, also of Preston, was released pending further inquiries.

all appear to be Victorians

If you watch the unedited version and not just the 30 second grab on youtube you'll clearly see that there's also another bloke in a maroons jersey along with the idiot in the Bronc's jersey as well.

So yes Bruno, one bloke specifically went out and brought a Bronco's jersey before the game in the hope there'd be a reporter doing a live cross after the game so he could attack him on air. Never mind that the f**king idiot put his ugly mug on the tv for all to see knowing very well he'd be filmed, but he went out and brought a $150 jersey just so people think he was a Bronco supporter :sarcasm:

Not to mention the other purchasing a Maroons jersey as well which are as rare as hens teeth and near on in impossible to get in Melbourne if at all. Or maybe he got it sent from interstate just for this sole purpose. These blokes obviously put alot of planning into attacking a reporter that they didn't even know was going to be there aye Bruno?

Regardless of them being bronco's fans that's not even the issue. If they were Storm fans i'd be saying exactly the same thing, identify who they are, throw the book at the gutless pricks and ban them for life from going to another game of rugby league.
