Right hand defence

Was listening to ABC radio the other night, during the eels v canberra match, and they were mentioning that the eels right hand defence was the worst in the comp regarding the number of tries scored down that side. What are your thoughts? Do we have any players on the roster for 2012 that would plug this gap.

Nope...

Heard that before as well against Souths...

Coincidently Ryan Morgan was defending (i use that term loosely) on that side as well that night.

And the week before that when Jennings gave him a lesson on how to play centre.

S.O.S Esi Tonga.

well you can hardly blame Morgan on last weeks effort as he was taken off early in the game and then we put a stop gap in a Horo in who's lateral movement (as pinpointed by poupou) was awful and we leaked some points because of it.

I thought Benny played right centre when Morgs came off.

He did.

The ABC commentators were not saying that it 'looks terrible' - they were saying that it 'IS TERRIBLE'
ie - our right side 'defence' gives up more tries and line breaks than any other team in the comp.

Everyone who has played out there this season can put their hand up for congratulations.

Round 2

Penrith Panthers, they have a centre by the name of Michael Jennings.
Bearded guy, very fast scored a try in Origin 1.

Also likes to drink while hes injured.

Yeah that guy.

Well you did say 'the week before' which didn't really make sense when you're talking about round 2.

will have to wait for Jennings & Gagan to develop a bit more and promote them from the 20,s, they have a good understanding of each other which has been evident through their Matts AND SG BALL days ---oh and can score points if given the ball.

Not sure that's what we're looking for in first grade is it?!?!?!
