As a right-wing person myself, it shits me to see the amount of great bands that allign themselves some easy-to-digest left-wing cause just to appeal to their fans (with the exception of RATM, who actually seem to know what they're on about). And besides, the Beastie Boys are Tibetan Monks or some shit like that now, so of course they're going to oppose anything that seems hip.

I forgot Burzum - how the hell could I forget Varg Vikerness?

On August 10th, 1993, Varg Vikernes murdered Euronymous in his apartment. Their relationship before the murder was tense, as their friendship and music relationship started going downhill. Varg, who had started to play the bass in Mayhem, killed him due to jealousy, but also because Euronymous still had to pay him a lot of money. Varg was never paid for what he had released through Deathlike Silence Records. Euronymous was found in his underwear, with 23 inflicted stab wounds with a knife. Varg was rumoured to try and outdo his rival's (Faust of Emperor) murder, wherein he led a homosexual man back to his house and stabbed him to death. At his trial, Vikerness came into court with his long hair made into pigtails, and denying his involvement in Euronymous's death. He giggled and laughed throughout the trial. He was convicted of the murder and was sentenced to 21 years in prison (the maximum possible sentence in Norway). When police arrested Varg, he was found with over 150 KG of stolen dynamite and plans to destroy Nidarosdomen, a large Christian church in Trondheim, on a religious holiday.

Since when were Nuclear Assault right wing? They seemed to fall more into the lefty/environmental camp to me.

Slayer are avowed republicans, they would definitely be classed as right wing.

Napalm Death definitely fall intothe lefty camp.

A good part of those right wing bands listed would be quite openly Nazis. And that scares me.

All of Wet Cat and Cheeses list are white supremacists, but thats because that list has been lifted straight from the Anti-defamation League's list of white supremacist/anti-semetic bands. Most of them have little or no following outside the NS/skinhead scenes and are of little consequence to anybody other than a few sad racist losers. The only ones I know of on that list who've really acheived anything outside the racist subculture are Abyssic Hate, Burzum, Aborym, Nokturnal Mortum, and Order from Chaos, and only Burzum have acheived any sort of widespread following.

Gospel of the Horns have been accused of having right-wing sympathies and certainly attract some of the skinhead element to their shows. Dunno how well founded the allegations are though.
Most black metal bands are probably right of centre although many are apolitical.
