Punishment is long overdue. But atleast its a far more appropriate punishment then the week that Souths decided he deserved.
How has Ferguson gotten a free pass when he has been basically suspended for 1 and a half years?
As for Auva'a, appropriate penalty, i think. Shame it has happened this late. The NRL in the past, under Gallop, was seen as reactive and will continue to be seen as reactive
Auvaa did those programs too between the verdict and sentencing
And Ferguson sat the season out for being a serial dickhead who abandoned his club and then he broke his leg so there was no opportunity for a comeback last year. Frankly he hasn't been punished for his sexual assault at all if we are taking a hard line
Judge Conlon, still with an axe to grind with the NRL, has labelled Auvv'a's penalty 'crazy' and complained that if you want to rehabilitate someone you shouldn't take away their employment. Only, Auvv'a is still employed, he is only suspended from playing! Thank Christ this idiot is no longer involved in the judiciary process. Why he's even still publicly commenting about NRL issues is bizzare.
I don't like Rothfield, but does anyone honestly believe that the NRL would have done anything about this prick from $ouff$ if there was not so much bad publicity.
What does Bunniesman think of the NRL punishment? I know he was very critical of Robert Lui being in our game.
Well done NRL....made the right call.

If they are consistent it is fine but if they drop this as a precedent when it's convenient then it becomes a bs ad hoc decision just because Buzz had a tanty. We'll see next time a player f**ks up when Buzz is in a good mood. Will they be as harsh without the media spotlight?
Maybe Auvaa can go break his leg now so he doesn't have a punishment too then?

Of course they would not have.
Lets get them on the how the NRL has completely stuffed up how juniors register to play the game now.
