a proof that afl is larger than rugby league is you ask sydney people who barry hall is and more than 5 out of 10 would know ask a melbourne person who camreon smith is and they would say cameron who. also average crowd at an afl match 40000 in sydney, average crowd melbourne rugby league match 10000.

I don't think NRL games would rate much in Melbourne. If it's not AFL it needs to be an event so SOO and the GF will rate, nothing else will.

What about Storm games themselves?

And if the Storm is in the GF Vs anyone, the Ratings will be better than the Swans last year.

As was shown, Half a million watched a none Storm GF in Vic last year, imagine how many in prime time.

Chuckles, congratulations on having arranged a new level of poster intellect at LU.

It's called "kkingston" and is slightly above "Wilkinson" but slightly below "Dirt".

There would be interesting, but if you're going to put games on they should be live and live games when the average crowd is 12k are dangerous.

Still, it's interesting because 9 have a problem next year, with no AFL coverage will they have the balls to push the NRL in Melbourne?

I personally doubt it.

Ask a Melbournian who Billy Slater is and 7 out of 10 would know, after all they are sports fans, aren't they?

I'm not having a shot at you about that, it is bigger but not by nearly as much as you obviously think. I'm having a go at you about the following comment which was, to be frank, geniused.

If he walked down the main street of any Sydney suburb except the ones adjacent to the SCG the only time he would be bothered for an autograph is when people mistook him for Ben Kennedy.

He's a nobody here and even he'd tell you that.
