Whatever happened to the young Warriors hooker we had reportedly signed? Doesn't seem to be in any of their squads. Ryley Smith playing 5/8 in Flegg is interesting as well. Wonder if its just to round out parts of his game. Would love to know what the club sees as the pecking order in terms of NRL potential at hooker between Smith, Mason & Sommerton.

Not a fan of the video of luai singling out salmon.

Salmon had a crack.

Luai probs needs to have a look at himself.

He needs to stop playing second fiddle so much to Nathan. We've seem when he's played for Samoa that he has the brilliance in his game.

He needs to get in at first receiver at times and play to Nathan out the back or he run it at tired props.

Ivan has been running the same shapes for 3 seasons.

Need to mix it up. Ain't going to win playing panthers ball that we've played with kiks and api last 3 years...

Just won't happen. Not with garner and Kenny.

Need to try things.

Last night I watched us play the same panthers ball we have for 3 years and Nathan and luai seemed dumbfounded it wasn't working yet to most on here it was obvious after the wcc that Ivan would have us playing the same style... just garner on an edge and Kenny at half doesn't equate to effective panthers ball

The video starts with Luai saying did I single you out?

That to me would show that Salmon mentioned something before hand.

As for Luai stepping up, He was about 1cm from scoring himself and that time mentioned in the video wasn't only time that someone on the left ran the wrong line. Atleast 5 times he had to come in because a decoy stepped in the wrong way.

We don't offload enough, Get Edwards and Luke with footwork running off the forwards. It will tire the other pack out and open up the wings more

1 point loss to a top 8 contender in the first week with no serious injuries. Not the end of the world.

A few things struck me:
- Spencer got more minutes but they weren’t as high quality as previous ,shorter) minutes
- we missed Sorro when he went off
- I thought Garner looked alright and excited for him to get in sync on that edge; their timing just looked off. But Garner runs good lines.
- Two players I am most worried about are Fish and Yeo. Hope it is just the early season blues (which I am giving the team in totality a pass because) and not general slowing down.

I also don’t think we are going to get any favours from the way the game is officiated; it is going to be SLOW….

A St Mary's player was in the 14 for NSW Cup. If he was playing well enough he'd be in the 9 somewhere
