I’ve never seen a winger influence a game like he did.

His not the sole reason but he got us rolling from our red zone every damn time and he turned little half breaks into tries or complete line breaks.

People underestimate how special he was.

Again fair from the only reason we are losing often but his loss has definitely hurt us.

It hurt us doubly with Gutho out and French injured early. We clocked off against Penrith and then we got ambushed by Manly because we were cocky.

But when we needed to roll up and do the work, those three were vital to our success because they all jump into acting half and create problems off the ruck with almost no risk. Losing all of them to start the season was a much bigger loss than people recognise. We got into problems because we were going into our shell more and more as things got worse, trying to make sure we held the footy and still did enough to be in the game, and not having that point of attack that gives you creativity with low risk hurt us.

It's just one thing, but it all adds up.

Second week in a row and probably 3rd or so time this season we have conceded a try or penalty goal within the first 3-4 minutes. I know we are off our game whenever that happens. We NEVER come back from that.
