Thing is is that Kelly tends to stifle the attack as he holds the ball too long. It's like look at me, I'm the product, then offloads. Hence Norman et Al doesn't get early ball.

Granted that if his lba and ta is high then he deserves to have the ball in his hands

He is a backup. He should just get the ball out early to men with more capability rather than be a wannabe full time nrl half.

That way he will benefit the team more

For mine Kelly's just off the pace. First grade is to quick for him. The Donkeys line speed exaggerated it, but it's there for all to see in the mistimed passes.

Last year, he would make a mistake and then yell at the player who knocked it on or whatever due to his poor execution. He was like, I'm the NRL halfback and you are in the wrong position. Alot of players put up their hands to acknowledge they have made a mistake.

Kelly doesn't do that. He tries and finds someone to blame.

Even when he passes the ball 15m behind his support players, he expects someone at the back to clean it up or that the whole right handside was overrunning the ball. But did he put his hand up, No way Jose.

I am sure Foran will.

No use asking me if ya think we can win this, there isnt a game in last 30yrs i havnt thought we couldnt win.I am also extremely shocked when we dont:p.I like wicks in the team i also hope gower gets a go soon. I personally thought Gutho was a weak link last week he seemed slow and came off his wing everytime they ran at him that sad i dont think he needs replacing at this stage.

I think Burnett has played better than Gutho but I guess that he can cover fullback and can Hick goals makes him a little more valuable

This is where people get confused by 'simple' in terms of gameplan. It doesn't mean one-out-shit-up-the-middle, it means the playmakers get to play what they see. Obviously of the forwards aren't getting quick play-the-balls then the playmakers won't have any opportunities. That means when they get the ball it looks ugly. The opposite of a simple gameplan is a highly structured gameplan.

So you raise a good point about the players needed for a simple gameplan. It's not just instinctive halves that are required. You also need plenty of go-forward.

Do you change your undies like you do your arguments. You are all over the place and change your thoughts on here week to week. I guess it gets you the attention you clearly crave.

I sometimes change my opinion but this wasn't one of those times.

I'll see you guys there. :)

Penrith player at home while I had work so I guess I'll watch you guys again. I might get a shirt while I'm there.

Also, Luke Kelly better not be in charge of catering again.

He is the nicest merkin of any rival fan who comes here. Followed closely by that Broncos fan who gloats about under 20s but not first grade. Somehow we shut him up on Thursday. If first grade had've won and NYC got belted he would've been gobbing off all week.
