Robbie Farah gone?

Im equally concerned by the comment in the Weidler article 'And here is the kicker: Tigers players have told me they have told Farah he has their backing and they want to play with him next year. That will be passed on to Taylor.'

Emotional backing is one thing OK, but team moving onwards -no matter what decision- is essential. Player blocks/cliques, however you want describe, cannot be allowed to continue. Ask them and those who put their hand up are out too. Basically, they should keep their heads down, do their job and keep mouths shut on this topic.

I have heard in several forums a few people state there are KPI's in Taylor's contract, so he can held to account for the teams performance and his decisions with that team. So, unlike Teflon Tim Sheens, he wont be able to weasel out of responsibility for mediocre results.

^^^

There can't be any KPI's in JT's contract or he would have been sacked. Comparing him to Sheens is like comparing prime quality steak with a piece of horseshit and Sheens was terrible at times.

Farah was clearly the ghost writer for that article. Running and leaking to the media and saying things like "The players have told me they want to play with me" is exactly the sort of shit you shouldn't be seeing from a captain.

Spoiled brat. The entirety of his tenure as captain has been a failure - he has to take the responsibility for that as well.

And there is the egg on the face moment for JT today,Farah showing why he is a soo player.

Well done Farah! Letting his class do the talking. I don't care what anyone else says, but a club legend should NOT be treated like this, especially from Junk Taylor!

Where has that effort today been all season? Today showed he hasnt been putting in all season.
He put in today desperate to embarrass the coach. I wish he showed the same desperation during the season to lift the team when we needed him.

An amazing group of supporters. when we lose it's taylor's game plan when we win (against a team going shite) its is the players. C'mon fair go.

Reported on 9news, when taylor was giving his half-time talk Farah was having a drink with his back turned - very mature, Robbie.

I wasn't able to watch the game but maybe it was due to Farah ignoring JTs game plan and taking charge of the direction of the plays...or it could have just been the forwards turning up today.

That sums Farah up and shows why Taylor is right to not want him there. His ego is that big that he turns his back on the coach while he is addressing his players. If Taylor was smart he would have dropped Farah two weeks ago. I don't doubt even Taylor thinks he is a good player, but just not $1million a year good.

As has been mentioned by many of us months ago and confirmed by Farah, he has been made to take the backseat all season. Today that wasn't the case.

Its been blatantly obvious to many of us for most of the season.

That was after the talk. Taylor was doing one on one chats at the time that footage was shown.

When are people going to get it through their thick heads that he's not getting 1 million a year. It is deferred money that should have been paid in previous contracts and was deferred to help the club out.
If your boss couldn't pay you this month and promised it to you next month, then you would expect what you were owed.

He wasn't playing to Taylor's dumb game plan today.

He has been for most of the season.

Farah's form has been down and he has already admitted as such, however a big part of this has to do with the game plan.

I mean honestly, what kind of coach tells his hooker never to run the ball?

My theory is that Jason has been purposely hindering Farahs game from the beginning. Why else would he not have him playing 80 mins?
The master plan was for Farahs form to drop which would make punting him easier to swallow. Today was a clear display of what we can achieve when our spine plays their natural game and not this ridiculous structure that JT has employed.

I didn't think I could ever have lower expectations going into a new season but 2016 is shaping up to be one of our worst ever.
