by that time the game was well and truly over... we had what 4 mins left... on third tackle and still in our 20.

It was our last opportunity if we wonted to pull anything off tbh.
You are right, i was just in dis-belief. . .

I find myself getting angry whenever I see Lowrie in a Parra jersey. He is without a doubt a player that I truly have problems with just looking at in our sacred blue and gold.

In the last 10-15 minutes of the game all we had to do was bump and grind out our win like we did for the first 20 mins of the second half.
But nuffies like Lowre and Tautai drop the bloody ball when the pressure is on our side to get the ball out of our twenty.
Can you please tell me why no one in our teams has the brains to identify that robson is doing sh*t all for end of sets and when we in opposition twenty and have the sence to get the ball to Dan mort who has been looking dangerous?

What about the grubber kick he did for that try, and the other one he did that was close to providing a try? If Tim Smith had done them, you would have hailed him a genius, I`m sure.

I thought lowrie played well today (10 runs 70 meters, 23 tackles & 1 error).

We lost the game with the forward pass and the knock forward by etu

I thought so, too. A couple of his tackles were definite try-savers, as well. It was his best game this year, I thought.

Ok your probably right, im biased....so what?
We all are in certain aspects.
Yes i will give Robson praise for that, but tbh, when doing thoughs plays it needs to be followed up by and lead to by repeat sets (not bloody cross-field kicks all the time) and good clearance kicks to get the opposing side as far back to there goal line as possible.
1% plays make a half-back imo, and yes robson did get us points with his grubber, but the other 90% of his kicking game last night was very negative and straight to them.

Has Lowrie ever played a game where he didn't drop the ball?
last night actually .... according to nrl.com - 1 error - and I can only assume thats the one where Burt did the dumb fumble into lowries head - technically lowrie's knock on, but anyone who blames him for that is kidding themselves (and i must add, by the rules, not actually a knock on)

look i agree lowrie is pretty ineffective and has the droppsies, but our club is in a pile of sh*t and unfortunately, he's the current option

people can say what they want facts remain that Lowrie is probably the third best backrower at the club behind Hindy and Joe if you consider Feleti as a five-eight.

He made a semi break and then as he fell to the ground he fumbled the ball (as always). It was fairly early in the game.

That`s okay; you`re allowed to be biased. But did you happen to notice Robson`s efforts in defence? He was everywhere! Some great covering tackles and one probable try-saver.
And Todd Lowrie played his best game for us. He wasn`t bad at all, in my opinion.

Well, that`s only one knock-on in the whole game - on a very wet and slippery night. Big improvement if you ask me! :)

Yeah actually when i saw Robson with that cover tackle late in the game it was very impressive.
Lowre's first 30 minutes were great, he was one of our best.
The problem that i saw was the fact that in important times e.g. when Lowre made that little break early on and knocking the ball on...

If Ando can fix these mistakes up in Lowre's game it will be great.
As well as work on Robsons kicking game, and get him to be more creative with the ball in the oppositions 20.

Ps: i am so biased, but at the end of the day i try and be realistic! haha.:D

funilly enough i think it was one of Lowries better games, I just don't know what people expect, we've got sh*t players and some play sh*t some play a little above their weight..for some reason we go on as if we expect Lowrie to be Bradley Cyde but it's just not possible.

the thing that irks me with Lowrie's drops, is many of them are when he's running at a gap off a very short pass - and if he held the f'n ball he'd be half a chance of breaking through

True.

Tood has a bad habit of dropping the ball when he's into a half gap.

He's done it on several occasions this year.

It's like..."Yes go Todd!".....half a second later....."ahhhhhhh F%&* you Lowrie you useless S&*$#!"

Those are exactly my sentimonies. Robson and Lowrie made some excellent saving tackles last night. In no way were they our worst players.
