fraizer campbell to hull for £5m
darron gibson to wolves
danny simpson to birmingham for £1m

from the man utd transfer speculation page..

Franck Ribery - too pricey for mine, and i dont really rate him that much.. everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i'd rather manu buy a young player like they did with ronaldo and turn him into something massive. Alexis Sanchez anyone?

Joao Moutinho - apparently sporting want nani + cash for moutinho, seems like an excellent deal to me. i rate moutinho highly.

Karim Benzema - havent seen too much of him, but from what ive seen, hes dropped off over the last year.. maybe a change of scenery will do him good?

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - meh

Maynor Figueroa - he went alright last season for wigan, dont know if hes top 4 material though

Kyle Naughton - never heard of him

Yohann Pele - apparently is a top GK, 26 or so and they think he will be a better long term option when van der sar retires.

Man Utd were rumored of getting a few months back but the rumor has died down but if they were to chase him, he will do a good job for them, only young had he possesses great skills and alot of speed and also a good finisher, watch him yesterday when Chile played Bolivia and he absolutely destroyed the Bolivian defence. i think he will be a good option for Man Utd and i am not saying all this because i am Chilean :lol:

Huntelaar was a quick fix buy. The cyber fans seem to want the guy gone. But how are they gonna fit Villa, Ronaldo and Kaka all into the starting side (and maybe Ribery as well)? They can't drop Higuain, he's one of their leaders now, and it would be silly of them to alienate Robben too considering how much he carried them in a lot of games I saw. And Raul will want to start as well. Maybe they can start all six.

----------------------------Casillas------------------------------
-----------Ramos-----------Pepe-----------Heinze---------------
----------------------------Lass--------------------------------
---------------------------*nobody*----------------------------
-----------Robben-----------Kaka-----------Ribery--------------
-----------Ronaldo----------Villa----------- Higuain--------------
gotto feel sorry for Iker

Van Der Vaart, Sneijder, Hunterlaar, Drenthe, Robben. How much money did they spend on this dutch contingent, and will any of them ever play for Real Madrid again? Like I said in the Liga thread, Atletico should try and pick some of those players up on the cheap (maybe not Drenthe). I know they're being linked elsewhere but I know Van Der Vaart in particular always wanted to play in Spain, so why not go to Atletico and not even have to move town, he would be the main man in midfield there and really have a chance to grow.

Roma seem to pick up plenty of Madrid discards.

Hope we try and sign Huntelaar and Drenthe (we were linked with both of them before they went to Madrid). Robben is too injury prone. van der Vaart and Sneijder I doubt we will have a chance on.

Anyway, Madrid are a circus. All these great attacking players led by Pepe in defence. LOL.

Bet you Perez plays FM and uses editor to cheat and give himself extra money, then he sells all his defensive players and buys 15 strikers. He flukes a few wins in fifa manager and thinks to himself "if i can do it on FM, I'm sure it'll work in real life"

In the last "galactico" era, Madrid at least had Fernando Hierro at the back. Now they have Pepe and Metzelder.

Unless they splash out and buy two decent central defenders, its going to be a laugh.

lol you forgot Heinze.
I can imagine perez going up to Van Nistelrooy "look Ruud you're going to have to play defence"
ruud:"what? I'm a striker I've never played there before"
Perez:"I know but I used you as a defender in FM and it worked well"

Maybe not, but what's the bet they and Barcelona both make the semi-finals next season, spelling the end to EPL domination of the competition.

Doesn't matter. Real Madrid signal the Champions League as the most important title to win, just like Chel$ki, so making the semi-final and possibly killing off the EPL dominance would mean little if they didn't win.

Let's face it, their manager will be sacked the second they are eliminated (if indeed they are.)

the shocking part in this deal for madrid is the fact that its an unconditional 80mill bid...

no performance clauses at all... which is a massive risk when you consider he's basically been under the one manager since he was 18....

what the hell happens if he becomes a stinker at madrid... doesn't fit into there system or causes unrest with the other players....

SAF knew how to handle the kid and bring the very best out of him... but i suspect a lot of that was to do with his position in the club and the stability he brought to the squad.

now.... hes moving to a team that replaces managers like toilet rolls... will he show the manager the same sort of respect that he gave SAF when deep down he probably knows he's more important to Real than that bloke.

one thing i gotta say about him though... hes a brilliant professional.. and gave his all for the Utd jumper... i would expect him to do the same if not more for Madrid...

Didnt Ferguson say something about he wouldnt sell Real madrid a virus or something along those lines when he was talking about Ronaldo going to Real late last year?
Looks like money will fix this virus.

Calderon was in charge then.

My guess is that SAF expected to have Ronaldo for the rest of his time at Old Trafford, and then maybe he would be sold. I never thought Ronaldo wanted out that bad, although the signs were there.

+1.

I also look forward to ManUre fans suddenly realising what a diver Ronaldo is.

I think you'll find we already knew. I've said to people more times than I can remember that if he played for any other team I'd hate his guts. Well, such has come to pass. Forever United, not forever cheating, diving prick. :D

Wow hasn't taken long. This is the guy who single handedly carried your team in your 2007-2008 season. As i said somewhere, this will be one of the most interesting off-seasons in years.
