Roosters will beat Wigan by at least 40

Nowhere near as embarrassing as the 20k crowds for the Souths-Storm and Manly-Sharks finals games.

Quite frankly anything over 25k is excellent when one team will be supplying about 500 of them.

Wigan have brought over 1500 and there are loads of Wigan fans living here in Sydney. You might be surprised at the noise their fans make at the start

This has a '94 World Club Challenge feel to it. Brisbane were overwhelming favourites against the travelling Wigan Warriors team. Wigan came out and won 20-14.

The predicted lopsided score line I don't see. I can see the Sydney Roosters winning here in a closer than predicted contest for the most part (the score line may end up flattering the likely victor here). Wigan are in to their season and with it have some cohesion. The Roosters player their first competitive match since October and there will be some ring rust. We are not talking about the well oiled machine that is the in-season Sydney Roosters.

The Roosters are going to curbstomp the Poms. Like any good NRL team would do to any SL team, especially in Oz.

Then the Roosters will have a massive ego and the hype will be through the roof before they suffer their own curbstomping at the hands of Souths in round 1.

We will probably find any expat supporters of English clubs will be attending. If I don't see plenty of Leeds bradford and saints fans there I would be surprised as most games I attend in sydney there is uasually a few of those in the crowd.

I will say 25-30k which isn't bad for a game that many aussies in the past have said is a waste of time

You mean the team called souffs that failed to win anything that matters in 2013 or for the last 43 years for that matter lol . souffs are good for one thing only in the NRL and that is to provide amusement for the clubs who actually win stuff like premierships and make grand finals.

I think it's time that you updated your predictions.

The best sl team wouldnt make the nrl 8

Playing this game in oz will set the concept back years and i cant see it staying as a fixture.
I have said for quite a while that the WCC should be played in somewhere like Singapore, Bangkok, Hong Kong, or Dubai. Places with large expat communties, and spreading the Rugby League gospel at the same time.

Watch out for the Roosters import from Perpignan, Remi Casty.

He is one tough French dude.

He could be the difference between the two packs.

Difficult to choose the team to root for here, the filthy poms or the Roosters.

I have to take this chance to commend the Cowboys on their boldness. It must've been tough for them to tell the great Matty Bowen that they didn't want him anymore.

If I knew what I saw based on the opening five minutes from Wigan, I couldn't be more wrong here. Wigan's defence that allowed Jennings to score was as poor as you will see at this level...doesn't bode well.

They have to man up here or this will get ugly.

I hope you Aussies noted how Charnley crashed into the advertising boards when scoring his second try without bursting into tears.
