You need to watch more ESL on Eurosport.

Smith, Dudson and Flower were three of Wigan's best players last year.

Green's a much better player now too. May surprise you a bit.

Green was thrown to the wolves over here when we lost Bird and Seymour during the finals series, but boy was he bad.

Hopefully he really has improved, he didn't get a chance here, much as it hurts me to say given how he helped serve up a GF appearance to the Storm (and as it turned out, a premiership to Manly with a Smith-less Storm).

Just picked up the 5 tickets I purchased. PAX22,963...although I ordered them on Tuesday.

Tele was saying 30k sold yesterday so a good crowd likely.

Don't know where they got that from. Club is hoping for 30k with a strong walk up.

if it was any team besides manly or easts I would have gone as a neutral.

haterz gonna hate. Your loss buddy. You'll be missing out on seeing the likes of Minichiello, Jenko, Maloney, Pearce, JWH and SBW play against the premier team of England

Nowhere near as embarrassing as the 20k crowds for the Souths-Storm and Manly-Sharks finals games.

Quite frankly anything over 25k is excellent when one team will be supplying about 500 of them.

bellyache is driving his boys on a 9 hour round trip to see a game his team has to win by at least 30 to retain credibility . . . reminding him of that was hard but someone had to do it

I'm suggesting that I've never heard of these guys:

25. John Bateman
32. Joe Burgess
24. Tony Clubb
17. Dom Crosby
16. Gil Dudson
10. Ben Flower
5. Anthony Gelling
14. Jack Hughes
23. Dan Sarginson
7. Matty Smith

And then there's these blokes who were rubbish in the NRL, but apparently play for England's best team:

6. Blake Green
22. Eddy Pettybourne

That's 12 out of 19 players who I assume would struggle to play consistently for many NRL teams. Even the Dragons, and we are rubbish.

I don't watch Super League consistently enough, but f**k me Blake Green absolutely carved up in the Grand Final. Assuming he displayed similar form to get to the big one, a lot of NRL clubs could definitely do a lot worse. I think young halves are thrown to the wolves and crucified a bit too early in Aus, especially in lower ranked teams where they might not have much to work with.
