The game was closer than "experts" predicted and I was happy Wigan pushed the Roosters for a period in the second half. The game somewhat flattered the visitors who were ordinary for a good portion. I love their spirit early in the second half when they came up firing. Credit to them when 18-0 down.

Is this a joke? They looked sloppy and defensively weak even considering that Charnley/McIlorum/O'Loughlin aren't fully fit (and we've lost 2 of our best young talents and 2 of our most experienced players since the GF). Neither team gave a great account of themselves, but it's a badly timed match so what do you expect.
