aaahhhh. Its just like the good old days again.

NT, we'll be pretty close except for Ben Ross coming onto the bench. Imo, pending medical clearance we'll be -

1 Wesser
2 Merritt
3 Best
4 Champion
5 Talanoa
6 Sutton
7 Sandow
8 Stuart
9 Luke
10 Asotasi (c)
11 Pettybourne
12 Taylor
13 Burgess

14 Geddes
15 McPherson
16 Lowe
17 Ross

Reckon Lang showed his hand the other night with regards to Isaac Luke playing 80 minutes this year. Ben Lowe or David Taylor will switch to the centres should we have any injuries to the backs. Atm we will be in a bit of strife should we have an injury in the halves, but later down the track, they'll have Crocker in the side and he'll fill in at 5/8 if either Sutton or Sandow go down mid game. At full strength, Crocker will be starting and Dave Taylor will go to the bench for McPherson imo.

Is Michael crocker injured? ahhh so many memories one of the roosters great original drunks........The roosters can produce a alcho!!!!!!

Crocker has had about 47 operations in the post / preseason. They are dead set rebuilding the bloke from the ground up.

Apparently, he would be ok to go for round 1, but the Physio has suggested they ease him back in. Looks like he'll miss 1 and 2, probably play round 3 with the Bears and be back in red and green by about round 4 at this stage.

Ahh that's ashame but not surprising the way hes played his whole career i remember seeing him in a roosters v panthers final where he got bashed from pillar to post still got up giving just as good as he got. He is a definite x factor in the Souths pack they so desperately needed. Just a query on him does he still have a option in his contract to play overseas if he can obtain a visa? If so did he try to obtain 1 this year to go play in England?

Maybe you'll still be in it at half time this year?

Although if we get to Sunday without one of your players setting a man on fire or sh*tting in a hallway, that's as good as a victory for you guys...

I'm HOPING to see:

1. Todd Carney
2. Anthony Minichiello
3. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
4. Phil Graham
5. Sam Perrett (if he is fit by Round 1)
6. Braith Anasta (if he is fit by Round 1)
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Jason Ryles (if he is fit by Round 1)
9. James Aubusson
10. FP Nuuausala
11. Aiden Guerra (this kid had a barnstormer in his trials, give him a run in Cherrington's absence)
12. Nate Myles
13. Mitch Aubusson

14. Ben Jones (far more impact and utility value than Kouparitsas!)
15. Tom Symonds
16. Daniel Conn / Martin Kennedy / Isaac Maliota (until Waerea-Hargreaves returns)
17. Lopini Paea

I'd think we'll see this side in Round One.

1. Todd Carney
2. Sam Perrett
3. Phil Graham
4. Shaun Kenny-Dowall
5. Anthony Minichiello
6. Braith Anasta (c)
7. Mitchell Pearce
8. Frank Paul-Nuuausala
9. James Aubusson
10. Jason Ryles
11. Tom Symonds
12. Mitch Aubusson
13. Nate Myles

14. Ben Jones
15. Lopini Paea
16. Aiden Guerra
17. Martin Kennedy

I'd like to see Isaac Maliota get a run in front of Martin Kennedy but I don't think it will happen. He had a terrific game in the NYC game on Sunday and from all reports, Brian Smith was extremely happy with his performance.

Good all round side to take on the Rabbits.

The thing is, Sydney fans, that your piddling club isn't even worth hating anymore. You are irrelevant. Like the Sharks, but maybe a little worse.

Im sorry, when was your last Premiership again? Too long ago to remember the specific date...

So let's just say that the '72 Munich Olympics were still in preparation phase when it happened, Richard Nixon was US President, Neil Armstrong's footprint was still fresh on the moon, and hippies were still raving on about Woodstock.

Shame about that...

You should have more appreciation for the Sharks, because if it wasn't for them your mob would be on the longest Premiership drought of any active club.

That however isn't a shame, on the contrary, it's f**king hilarious.
