Foran out is a massive blow. I've got to ask the question how is it possible that in the off season they didn't manage his chronic hamstring problem ?

Luke Kelly has proven to be a dumb player. Consistently takes Wrong options. So disappointing that Cornish did get a go.

In terms of round 1 as a stand alone game v the Broncs I don't think it's as big a loss as it seems.

Foran's timing was way off in attack with just a 3/4 trial and the switch to the right, and playing with a new club (including a new right centre and a right winger new to the club and new right edge back rower).

Fact is that our best chance of points is likely to come from the left or otherwise from line breaks : offloads on the right.

Foran didn't kick well the other night either. Kelly's kicking game is erratic but I'm not sure that for a single game it's as big a blow as it would be later in the season, or against a weaker team.
