The New Jersey design is starting to warm with me. Hopefully it's a cracking game

EELS GUN PUSHING

Kaysa Pritchard is on the verge of unseating Isaac DeGois for the Eels’ first round clash with Manly on Sunday March 5.

Pritchard is seriously pushing for the hooking role which would see him play alongside big brother Frank for the first time in the NRL.

Private Ryan understands the Eels won’t carry a second hooker on the bench for their match against the Sea Eagles with Nathan Brown, Kenny Edwards, Daniel Alvaro and Frank Pritchard their likely reserves.

New recruit Suaia Matagi is set to start in the front row alongside Tim Mannah with Manu Ma’u and Tepai Moeroa the back-rowers.

With Bevan French in the No. 1, Brad Takairangi will play at centre and Josh Hoffman on the wing.
