No problem with Witt being picked, on the bench. He seemed to offer something in the CS and is worth a shot at back up dummy half. But as starting half back is a little confusing all round.

- having no backup hooker, but a 5/8 or utility centre on the bench
- having 1 specialist front rower in the whole team

I honestly cant remember. They were all s..t, but I wonder why Price has made this move.

I'd reckon having no backup hooker, but a 5/8 or utility centre on the bench with no speed off the mark, sluggish service and dodgy knees would be worse...

FFS. That's just rubbish. We buy a talented young half then dump him to the Cutters in favour of an older, slower bloke. We buy a damaging edge runner to replace Creagh who has lost all his attacking mojo. So we stick him on the bench and keep Creagh on the edge (to start at least). Then we dump Stockwell in favour of a bloke who has been very disappointing and out injured all last year. Stick in Harrison and Style, neither of whom have impressed. This coach is a bloody lunatic. I am shocked by that team.

Widdop and Stanley. Neither are as good as Witt but there is no lack of options.

He got run over on the try line to allow souths to score and missed a couple of other tackles but geez he wasnt Robinson Crusoe.
