No Williams is a huge disappoinment. Harrison in the team ahead of Stockwell isn't great either. No Runciman but still a strong backline, more than happy to see Quinlan at fb.

Stockwell has a hamstring injury and out til Rnd 3 otherwise he would be there I'm sure

Witt won't let us down but he is a bit of a yesterdays man, we need a player for the future and even if we win this week it'll feel a bit like a loss. All due respect to Witt like you said Tru, but I would have thought he was the plan B if Williams didn't work out. This is deflating.

I honestly cant remember. They were all s..t, but I wonder why Price has made this move.
Witt as a benchy, like bottle says, I agree with.

Other than taking his eye off the ball one time at dummy half I thought Stanley did ok in the CS given how we went as a team

I have followed the Dragons for 40 years and I am finding it very difficult at the minute to manufacture any enthusiasm for the team with this kid coaching the side. With all the problems we had with an old halfback last year; we recruit a decent young half back (Williams) and then pick an old journeyman (Witt) at number 7 to play in Round 1. Put it another way we purchase a kid who may turn out to be a good long term half back and then on the back on a subdued Charity Shield performance when our forward pack was decimated...we drop him! And don't even start me on Bronson Harrison. He is seriously appalling. In 40 years of watching rugby league I have never seen a bloke more out of his depth then Steve Price.....AND HE IS OUR COACH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You must have missed his dummy half service which included one along the ground to his left in the second half.....

Style being stuck behind Hornby and Fien for a halves spot. De Belin stuck in the Cutters whilst Prior and Young played every week. Safety first.

It's a young man's game now... No two ways about it. Veterans are nice but more for contingency which is exactly the reason I thought Witt was brought in. We're not gonna win a comp with Witt at half.

NOR will we win a comp with Price as coach. Even when he gets the team he wants he doesn't use them. No wonder the players are a head case. The coach is a Basket case.
