Good on the EELS!!

SANDOW looks great--a fantastic little player.

Abig year I hope for the EELS--it will be;if they can remain fit & healthy!

Some thoughts:

* Sandow has never looked better and I hope he now stays with our club. He owes us anyway for being patient.

* I thought Norman was superb and is obviously niggle free. Thoroughly deserved his MOM. If we lose Hoppa and gain Foran I would put him at fullback assuming Hayne makes it.

* I have always been a fan of Taka and thought he was great in the centres. Very underrated player. Thanks Tigers.

* Choc Watmough has so much energy and if anything it rubbed off players like Joseph Paulo who I think had a good game.

* Tepai is the best young forward in the comp.

* Mannah will excel this year with the new ruck rule. Much more space out there and props who can get to their feet quickly will exceed.

* Degois and Peats rotation was a wise move. Isaac had great energy. He also saved our arse plenty of times close to the line.

* My favourite forward - Mau is back and how good were we with him in the side.

* I thought Junior Paulo looked a little unfit.

I'm a big fan of taka, was a big fan of his signing when others laughed...he is better in attack than any centre we had last year...he passes to, semi will score a boatload
We need to find a replacement for champion, passenger
A replacement for Joseph Paulo in the mid term as well although I thought he was better than usual tonight, he looked bigger to me
Thought everyone else was pretty impressive

I thought Junior Paulo played very well and was quite energetic on the field. Maybe bulked up a bit more but was impressed with his play.

Considering we dropped so much ball and gave away some dumb penaltys it was a brilliant brilliant performance. Attitude in defence was amazing.

Thought Lussick when ok too, did give two terrible passes but was pretty strong in defence and attack. He just needs to calm down a bit and get into the game rather than trying to knock someone's head of or unload the impossible ball.

I have an amazing stat, Mannah topped the sides offloads with 2 offloads tonight. I reckon that is more than the whole 2014.

Taka controlled Lyon tonight, which went a long way to keeping Moanly under control

We are dominating them physically - too fast, too strong. We just need to hang onto the pill and we'll put forty on them.

Reece Robinson is a waste in defence.......and not much in attack. His kicking is rather ordinary as well.

Let's not get too carried away. Manly had Matai, Buhrer, Williams, and Tafua out. They have also just lost their two best forwards to other clubs and had Mateo eating furniture during the off season. The real test is next week against the Dogs.

What a great win!
It was great to watch a team effort. The halves for mine were very good.

And as i said the Peats and IDG rotation worked really well, both being on at the same time and we lost nothing.

Watmough, it's great having you at this club. You are exactly the player this club has needed for a long time

Couple of silly passes, but his aggression was fantastic tonight. Thought the tackle he made early in the first half where Lawrence? spilled the pill set the tone for the rest of the night

I loved seeing Lussick trying to kill people. It was awesome.

Aside from his errors, he played well IMO.
