No Latrell, Cronk, or Cordner. A backrower playing in the centres, a rookie in the backrow. A new halfback.
1 game in England as only run this year.
Home ground advantage to us on a Saturday night.

We will never get a better chance to start the year off with a win. Time to atone for last years failures and start the year off right.

Plus apparently we had a good pre season, looked good in trials etc. All the indications are we should win so sadly that means they will put 30 on us!

Remember Elliots last season in 2011 home game against the Knights in Round 1, full of optimism, only to get thumped by forty. Our next home game against the Sharks wasn’t any better they put 40 on us well. Hoping 2020 starts on a more positive note.

Things are moving very quickly now with coronavirus, some pressure being applied to cancel tonights game in Townsville. Our game could be cancelled I think.

Empty stadiums should be the first move. But if we follow the lead of the NBA and NHL it's all cancelled.

That sucks but is expected sooner rather than later. A lot of things involving groups of people will be stopped.

We've decided not to go with all the Corona stuff happening. No sense taking the extra risk honestly.
Catching a virus doesn't automatically mean you will die, its affecting those with poor health/old age, as in older folk, seems to me if your told to stay home for a fortnight to get over it, most probably an argessive flu, should go out and buy some palletes of toilet paper just incase of the apocalypse.... geez

That was the initial plan but from what I was told (from a very reliable source) they'll likely now just suspend the season for a month or so. They're expecting it to happen by Rnd 2 or 3.

Nothing like a bit of hysteria.

My 12 year old step daughter has Asthma and we have a 15 week old girl as well.

Also people need to take it a bit more seriously. Italy is shut down with their hospitals overrun to the point of deciding who to treat based on survival chances.

The problem is the more people come into contact with each other, the more elderly people will die. Whilst you & I will be fine, we likely will pass it on to an elderly person. This can overwhelm the medical system.

The death rate is much higher than the flu in elderly people

What a shame. Going to be a very interesting season if so.

Yes my daughter too, sorry i did forget about sick children, most of the news has been pummeling death tolls, but then only revealing that most were frail older folk, my bad.

Plus the supermarket outrage over toilet paper... fun fact the Philippines folk use a form of a bidea, called a tabou, they dont even use toilet paper unless its at a hotel, for the tourists, it mostly clogs up their bad plumbing, so there is always signs about the excessive useage

You're all good. From what I've heard people with respiratory issues are a higher risk so figure let it sort out over the next few weeks.

Italy is full of old people but yeah if you have medical reasons best to be safe
