As I said if he isn't careful he'll become damaged goods so to speak as he is suspended too often. Really depends on him though.

I take OP's point. It's not fair but having that reputation will affect how people perceive his actions. He's going to be on thin ice in the medium term at least and that's not ideal. You can see it pretty clearly in this thread.

That said, the answer isn't to change your game. Get better and better at what you do. Hit hard and legal. Cut the extra crap out. Star in a premiership or three. Get that protected class treatment that serves the Burgii and the Marias of the game so well.

Kikau is a big name, he still got suspended . Sam Burgess missed a finals game last year for pulling someone's hair. Despite getting off that Moylan high shot he was stil suspended a lot.

Young Paul Gallen had a pretty bad reputation too, and had the judiciary history to match. He managed to have a pretty decent career. Obviously not saying Hethro will follow his footsteps, but all he needs is a decent season or two, and everything turns.

If you watch closely the biggest niggler in our side is Jerome and its not even close, he very much takes after Jimmy in that regard. He is constantly talking and getting in guys faces if they make an error etc He started at least one scuffle(the half time one) just niggling blokes and getting under their skin.

Yeah I know of course its not good he is suspended and mssing games and it it keeps happening as often as it was a year ago then he will have a short career. But IMO it was pretty noticeable how much he has changed his game, like I said earlier that high tackle was a reaction to Tedesco almost going through a hole, I don't think we will be seeing that often from him, its just unfortunate it was in round 1.

Watch him play, he is constantly moving in defence, making that extral little effort to be in cover just in case its needed which is probably why he was there to make that tackle on Teddy. With that attitude and his raw talent he is a player worth persisting with. Also he stayed loyal last year and during the offseason when he was obviously down the pecking order, he was being chased by the raiders at least that was reported as a rumour from multiple sources throughout the year and he stayed and fought for a spot, disappointing that he is suspended no doubt but he will get back.
