That is big news. Benji does deserve a wake up but I'm wondering where the points are going to come from.

Maybe play everything off Farah and have Fulton and Sirro belting it up the guts along with the forwards. Put Benji in there when everyone is tired and hopefully he will run the ball.

Still - that is a huge call.

Stiffen up our defence in the middle, cos we need it, and give Benji a kick in the bum

Given Utai has been named, even though he appeared to have a bad ankle, makes me wonder if Reddy will move to the wing and Benji/Sironen to centre (the other being halfback).

There are some pictures on the Tigers site from training. Benji is barely seen, let alone doing anything with the ball in his hands. He looks like he's trying to slot into the defensive structure out the outside edge.

Both of these things had to happen. It'll be interesting how Benji performs when he gets a chance. It'll also be interesting where he plays.

I'd like to see Tedesco given the no 1 role even though he needs to stop dropping the ball. I don't really want to see Benji learn how to catch the ball from the back.

Same bog average side. The demotion of Marshall to the bench restricts our kicking options. Is there any evidence that either Fulton or Sironen can kick a ball? Farah, as usual, will assume the majority of responsibility in that regard.

Spence is Luke Isakka, Trent Runciman, Rocky Trimachi, Dane Morgan reincarnate. The fact he is nearing 5 first grade games is proof that a lack of talent, size, stamina and intuition is no bar to selection if you have the right attitude.
