These two wingers are our future,i dread the thought of Lote,Utai,Lawrence and every other busted arse that was crueling our backline coming back into the side at there expense.

Don't disagree but what do we do with Pat Richards who we have just signed for 2 years? I think we will see these 3 vying for the 2 slots and covering each other for injury. A pretty healthy position to be in I'd say. Now just to sort out centres.............. Ayshford OK but Lawrence is a real problem. What to do?

Getting rid of Lawrence is crazy talk. He hasn't seen quality ball since 2011. He gets flung the ball either way too late, with no room to move, when a play has died, when Benji has run 10m sideways, forcing the backs to stop sliding & go infield to avoid being bundled into touch when Benji eventually passes and is thus caught flat footed, or way early with the defence outnumbering our attack.

Ayshford played well when Miller was halfback because he was given the ball at the same time Ayshfords defender half committed to tackling Miller, which allowed Ayshford to get outside his man.

If Miller was able to hold the ball a second or two longer he'd have created gaps.

That would have come with more time, which he deserved, but never got.
And again, our halves, backline & attack is again in disarray for no reason. Miller should have stayed at 7.

If only to serve as a benefit for the rest of the teams structure.

Lawrence is finished. He runs like a 70 year old man. Quality ball or not, he's been awful. I think it's clear the hip injury cripppled him.

Does Pat Richards have the ability or know how (skills) to play fullback?

The only reason I ask is I do want to see Koro and Nufuoluma on the wings sooner rather than later, their speed is so valuable to us. I know that then creates an issue for Tedesco but I am not totally sold on his abilities at the moment. He may come good, those with knowledge of his junior games seem to think so therefore it might be just this current team isn't suiting his game.

I just know Richards is big and (was) fast so I thought he may be able to play at the back....just my thoughts.

Im more worried about Lawrence's hamstrings over his hip, this is what the 5th or 6th time he's badly torn the same one?

I'm not blaming Benji for Lawrence not playing well but there is no way I would be getting rid of Lawrence just yet.

The guy is big and explosive. Surely there is a spot for him somewhere.

MU, Tiger05 etc. I'm not saying we should dump Lawrence but I really think a honest appraisal by a third party expert in these type of injuries and recovery is needed by WT. All that can be said, is ever since his return from that horrible injury, his form has been terrible. Now the blame for that can encompass many factors inc general team bad form, not enough clear ball and room to run etc but I do think his ability to run liek he did prior to the injury has suffered. If it is a permanent lessening of his ability to perform we need to know it, if it is just a case of fitness OK too, bit I think there is something there more than clear ball and room to run. Lawrence now, is not the Lawrence we loved to see on the field.

I think the hamstrings are linked to a history of issues and our utterly inept, TAFE Certificate qualified S&C coach. His solution to everything seems to be put on muscle in the backs and knock the bulk off the pigs. He was a legend as a player but a cruel and pathetic joke in the football dept.

Whilst they are bringing Brooks along in NSW Cup, I think Siro should now be partnered with him there.

Not picking on 1 guy from the game but it stood out to me that he was not up to it.

This was a predictable result. The one thing I will say though is: When you are suffering as much as the tigers are at the moment, you DO NOT leave the player who is the most skilful at the club on the bench, no matter how bad his form. Potter needs to be shown the door immediately! Sheens was guilty of one error last year and that was changing his halfback every second week, Potter has committed the ultimate sin, not putting his best team on the paddock!
