Was May actually good? I couldn't watch because of work but the match review only mentioned him catching and falling over the line basically.

Support play was good. Solid defence. No errors so good allround game. I don't see him forcing into the side but would be next man up

ok, I'll make this simple, Do all of you Tamou apologists believe that he is a good value player for us? Just quote this post and provide a simple yes or no answer.

I don’t know what he’s being paid, I know that it’s significantly less than what’s being reported.

He created the Linebreaks that led to his 2 tries.
1st try he took off from dummy half on the half way line scooted 15 meters then shaped to go out and passed back in to set up linebreak then supported and ran about 20 metres carrying both opposition halves on his back the last 5 metres to crash over the try line.
They showed he has strength back in the knee.

Seemed to be running freely changing direction of both legs which led to his second try when he shaped to kick on the last then stepped back of his right down the short side creating a line break for Atkins who offloaded back to May to walk it over.

Did some hit ups,tackled well,kicked well,forced a drop out,a couple of bombs & kicks to the corner & played the 80 mins.

I had Cowboys in my top 4. Zero hesitation doing so. Cowboys. Storm and Roosters. My yop 4 certainties.

Cowboys made a grand final boosted and are by the return of Thurston and Scott. Adding Hampton and McLean. Never dreamed they could be worse with those guys.

Eels were definitely never a top 4 quality roster. But i had them as a more than likely top 8 side. Not a spoon contender atleast.

Still a long way to go. But im about 50% on where I thought teams would be.

He is making always around 100mtrs and 30 tackles while breaking tackles.
Why do you want him making 150mtrs? Im sure he could. Just takes 6 more hit ups.
But then that maybe a few less Kikau or Chn get.

Bears are very ordinary and he is a FG so looked far quicker than them anyway. Looked ready for FG just not sure where he gets in before Origin anyway

Hes averaging less metres with the same defensive output as last year. How exactly is that an improvement? He has declined every year since 2015.

2018: 95m and 27 tackles / 1.8 missed
2017: 110m and 27 tackles / 1.5 missed
2016: 131m and 26.2 tackles / 0.8 missed
2015: 140m and 24.75 tackles / 1.2missed

Do I want him getting more touches? f**k no. Not until he starts running the ball like the rest of our pack. I cant think of one forward who hasn't run the ball harder than him for us this season.

He's capable of it. He earned the right to represent his state and country. Now he's playing so shit theres as much chance of him wearing a NSW jersey as there is Cartwright. 0%.

Maloney has come along and performed as a star half should..Maloney has come along and proven his worth. Im hoping Tamou will do the same. If he plays like he did in 2015 he can help Maloney win us a premiership. Right now he's a passenger though

I'm yet to see anyone 'getting off' on how Bryce is playing (especially on this forum). All of us have expressed sadness at his issues. So I'm more than a little bemused by your comment.

For and against seperated 4th-11th before this week. This includes Knights and Souffs (who some are now saying are chances to win the comp)

Where do you come up with this shit? I have never once said 5th place is the same as 4th place.

If youre referring to the current ladder being inaccurate... then yes I still believe it is. Its the best guide we have for now. But we don't have the full story on who are the genuine top 4 and top 8 teams.

The draw so far is extremely uneven. We've faced 3 teams twice already and not faced half the competition yet. 5 teams in the top 8 we are yet to play. Likewise those teams havent faced us.

Until we've all played the 24 matches we were given in the draw. Teams are only keeping spots warm on the ladder. Hence me wanting yo see our form agsinst consistently good teams. Ones we struggle against. Storm. Roosters. Dragons. They are our real test.

I agree Dave, other than your last sentence. Long way to go. A lot of tough games ahead. No easy ones despite what Umina Panther may want you to believe.
