One of the fastest teams in the comp (Titans) against one of the slowest.

I can just see us been torn apart by quick play the balls and their wingers are amongst the fastest in the league.

This could get ugly.

Agree. No one on the Broncos can chase down Mead or Gordon if they get open space. Idris could have a field day out in the centres...we will make him look like Meninga in his prime.

We should go ok tonight if our forwards lay a good platform. I think Reed is good enough to handle Idris. Need a little magic from a few players to get the win though.

We dont have much magic. We struggled to get over the line vs a beat up Tigers team. We have to face facts that this Broncos team is not like the Broncos of the past.

Obviously. Lets hope they surprise us and get a win. Not sure why Hala is being left off the bench. It makes little sense to me.

As if that's anything new.

CM is reporting that the bench will be Stagg, Hala, Dodds & Granville.

Nobody knows what's going on.

If Scotty Pince plays you can be sure he'll be on the look out for Dave Taylor.

I'll post up more thoughts tomorrow, but we need to see more of Granville. I thought his passing from dummy half was top notch.

I know the Tits were pathetic but I like Granville.

Off tonights effort alone he deserves another game. Don't like his chances though.:(

Looks like Stagg did his ACL - gone for the season.

The contributions from Granville, Kahu, Hala and Jarrad Wallace were good and very encouraging. Hunt was pretty good in defence and had some okay touches in attack. A solid effort all-round. If he can add a bit more quality to our attacking options he will clearly be the best half we have. On tonight's effort he is as good as anyone else we have, already.

Maranta was atrocious again. He got a lucky bounce for a try (set up by Granville) and was okay under a few bombs he got, but was awful in most everything else he did, including bombing a try later in the game.

3 - Parker
2 - Glenn
1 - Thaiday

Was tempted to put Gillett in there, but 8 missed tackles held him out.

Parker with another Iron Man performance, I really think we should move Thaiday back to 2nd Row and move him to Prop. Glenn looked threatening all night, and Thaiday worked his arse off.

Wallace was solid, Hunt was very quiet, really hoped he'd take this and run, but didn't get many chances and didn't do enough with the few he had...but still better than Prince's worst this year. One thing I notice about Hunt that Prince doesn't seem to do, he reads the opposing playmakers well, defusing kicks and pressuring their halves, caught 3 short range kicks last week, 1 this week and forced an error getting in close.

Maranta needs to be dropped again, I don't get how Hadley kept going on about him. He's solid in defense..but he lacks the finishing ability a good winger should have. When Taylor made that break in the 2nd half..he was actually out-running Maranta until he was cleaned up.

Granville was as impressive as I'd hoped and I think he'll only get better..was probably good for him to get his 1st error in the NRL out of the way right off the bat.

Good to see Hala get some decent minutes, and bending the line with most of his runs, impressed by J.Wallace too, hope we get to see some more of him while Hannant is out.

Was a little surprised by Kahu's metres, as I didn't really notice him all that much, but he was solid. Sad to see Stagg go out like that, but I never thought he fit into the team, we already had parker, unless he moved to Prop, we didn't need another Brick Wall 2nd Rower.

Would have thought that Prince might be under a bit of pressure to regain his spot, Hunt in the backs seems to be working and you've got a perfect hooker coming from the bench.

Prefer the line up tonight far more than what we've been rocking all year (obviously Hodges in though). Have wanted a specialist hooker off the bench for the last 2 seasons and I think we saw the benefits tonight. Had hoped it would be The Baptiste though...

Very good result. Pretty pissed that I tipped against us now.

Tonights lineup needs to get another run next week. Aside from Stagg going out, Hodgeo coming back in and dump Maranta again, zero changes. We played like we should have been since Round 1. Granville had a great debut. This kid could really go places. I too thought Hunt would make more of his chance to shine, so I can see Hook hooking him for Prince when he's ready to come back. Thaiday tore the place up too, Captain leading from the front sort of stuff. Good to see.

On to ANZ. A nice challenge for this emerging good side. Start praying to the footy gods that Canberra and Newcastle lose. We're in 5th spot.

I thought Hunt did enough to keep his spot next week. Definitely better defensively then Prince and not that big a difference in attack. Took the ball to the line well, suffered from not having Hodges outside him and we attacked the opposite side of the field on tackles 4 and 5. Glenn was back to his old self, I thought Hoffman was a stand out offered a heap of cover on Norman this week too. PWall was okay he got the job done. Gillett was I don't know he played well in patches and badly in others. Thaiday looked good from when he came back on. I just don't think he is big enough to roll with the boppers in the middle when everyone is fresh, good try from him up front.

JWall and Hala were both really good off the bench, I thought JWall was a standout came on when everyone was tired and played like he was the only forward in the middle, making solid runs and sticking tackles. I am not going to go overboard about Granville, came on when the opposition was in disarray had some good touches made some quality runs, Baptiste was just as good in his debut and his second game was a shocker.

Solid game, really liked the looks of Granville and Hunt played a solid game. I'd be happy with the same lineup next week except with Hodges replacing Maranta, Kahu moving to the wing, Dodds/Slyney replacing Stagg on the bench.

Apparently Reed has a suspected Eye socket fracture..even with Hodges back next week, we might not be rid of Maranta as hoped..

Was happy with Norman doing a lot more kicking tonight. Good debut by Granville and hopefully he can put some pressure on McCulloch.

Hunt deserves another shot next week and wasn't the defensive liability of Prince.

Parker - 3
Hoffman - 2
Thaiday - 1
