Sorry but this started when we shafted our coach 4 weeks from a potential top 4 finish because a few players & our GM thought he was too stubborn. The dynamic of the club changed there & then. The power shifted towards the players & this is the end result. Lazy, unfit, unmotivated & comfortable.

Once again the same few players will likely get the heat - Katoa, Edwards, Whare. But f**k me, at least those blokes have a crack & try to lift the energy on the field through their actions.

We sacked Griffin, a coach with a 58% win record who helped us to 3 straight final appearances for the first time in our history, to take a step further. Gould wanted Bennett to help us take that step. Instead Dave decides to get his mate a gig.

Dave's mate - 45% winning record has helped the team take 3 steps back.

The squad is fine.Needs a bit of ironing out but not like it needs wholesale changes.
Every team needs freshen ups and Penrith didnt get that this year.
There are some quality fullbacks running around in NSW cup. And also some better wing options there as well. It isn't like the team can't win against most teams. Just need some hungry players.

There is no way Cleary will walk without being paid out. He has a 5 year contract. Would you walk out on 5 years of (high) income? No way it will happen. We are stuck with him for a while yet. We also can not afford to pay him out.

That’s what makes our current predicament all the more disappointing. In all likelihood we are going to be stuck in mediocrity (or worse) for a number of years, unless somehow everything turns around. Without an obvious catalyst for things to turn around it isn’t clear where that change will come from.

We also know from when we had Hook that our team has the potential to play so much better than they are playing now.

Our players are small and soft last night we got man handled by a much bigger stronger warriors side. We have the biggest junior nursery of league in the world and by the looks of it there all midgets no size or speed.If we have to look elsewhere then so be it but go find some big strong fast outside backs and a hulking front rower or 2 for christ sake.

We need a new recruitment officer for starters. Jim Jones has been around for over 30 years, who has he ever signed from outside the PJRL area?
Spending all this money developing players in western NSW for other clubs who don't spend a cent on junior development to reap the rewards.
We need to find an NRL hooker, front rowers, fullback and big powerful wingers.
