I just saw some reporter on fox sports say 'Panthers fans will be absolutely shocked with the RCG decision...but behind the scenes officials are not happy with his form'...

Maybe general NRL fans would be shocked, especially over Mansour. Anyone who actually watches the game would know they were lucky to stay in first grade even up to last week.

I didn’t see Gould’s team but certainly there is concern the RCG resigning deal may not rank amongst his finest accomplishments.

In defence of RCG's resigning, he was playing like a beast before injury. Eating through a straw on two occasions would knock someone around a bit. Hope he gets back to his best - I feel sorry for him.

I never saw what some others believed they saw in RCG.

I just think some got caught up in the ‘aggression’ thing but at the end of the day he is relatively easily handled by the defensive line, has no offload, no post contact metres and no X factor. Gus obviously got caught up in the hype. Personally the way to go with RCG was at best a two to three year deal on maybe 500-600K and that would have been generous in my opinion. If he could have done better than that elsewhere then I would have let him go and I said it time and time again 18 months ago but no one agreed with me at that point in time.

Ruins my entire weekend.

Wish we had more Sunday games at 5pm.

He still is young for a prop so still some hope but Gus was very quick to upgrade or get rid of guys

Do you honestly believe in another year or two he will suddenly develop the skill set offered by the likes of Tapau, JWH or Fafita. It just isn’t in him. You know if you had two starting front rowers like Fafita & Tapou then RCG of the bench would probably work. While I am not necessarily a big stats person his outputs haven’t been worthy of someone on his money.

2016-17 stats were pretty good. He earn't his Origin jersey last year. Has a decent passing game he could develop to a James Graham style or atleast that is the hope seeing he is going no where
