Yep, I sure am. Loose carry I can cop, no way in shit he tried to offload it for mine.

Tell Brad Arthur he is imagining it too. In the press conference at about 1:29, He refers to the forced pass when we are attacking the line with in the last few mins. (Maus attempted offload). Then souths roll down field and we are forced to defend a few sets in a row, costing us the game.

Its amazing how all the media articles and news reports are saying the Bunnies never gave up and played the game out and had the best players in all the votes, blah, blah blah.

Yet if we convert two of those tries, we win, and everything changes, all of a sudden we are dogged and kept them out and our payers get all the votes.

Sometimes you have to wonder if they actually watch the games or not.

But we didn't win, and they did. That's the difference Twiz. We couldn't beat a Warriors team that was two blokes down. We couldn't beat the Bunnies when they were missing their two best players and were way below there best.

Norman tried to get a repeat set at the end.
Instead he put it dead.

Norman really shouldn't be allowed to kick in the opposition 20. He is really not good at it.
Even Kelly is better.

Norman is better at making ground and finding space with his kicks when we are trapped in our own end and Kelly is a better kicker close to the line but they were used the other way around for much of the game. We miss Hayne!

I'm not suggesting I'm alone in feeling like shit but me personally I am getting fed up with the club in general.

We are a rabble! I'm not blaming anyone specifically because it is every f**king piece of shit since 2006 who hired shit coaches and made poor reactive decisions.

From overlooking JT in favour of Hagan. Ousting DA because you didn't hire him. Getting rid of Kearney only to sign Stuart and then hiring a rookie coach (for the second time in 3 years) to fix the massive mess we're in.

I don't want BA gone, I'm not sure he's up to it but we need a coach to see out his f**king contract for once!

Every one of the previous coaches struggled whenever Hayne wasn't available and BA has to manage without him or anyone to fill in for him for the whole season.

:? Then we stop paying him (or not ) and replace him in the lineup with the young back rowers he has been mentoring while he was here).

And you know he's been picked in Origin again, right?

The short term is exactly what we're trying to fix.

That's all we can do this year when we are operating with a salary cap that is a million dollars short of every other team in the comp. We are missing the cornerstone that BA was building his team around for this season. Once again thanks Hayne!

What I also found unbelievable was in the pre-game interview with Yvonne Sampson where he almost suggest that he had zero confidence in Chris Sandow but implying that he was unreliable and doesn't follow instructions. If that is the case, then what is he doing in the team.

Goalkicking is as much about confidence as it is about skill. A coach can't instill skill but he can instill confidence in his players and this is where I think BA is falling short at the moment.

You're not hearing anything except the voices in your head. Go away.

I actually know where Gould and Cleary and the captains have a coffee to discuss a game plan for the game coming up. I will keep eye open and casually sit close by and listen in.

It is quite possible that Sandow was put back into the team due the the 2nd tier cap issues at the Club. I'm not saying this was the case, as none of us know the circumstances of where the 2nd tier cap is at, but it's certainly possible.

I actually think it's difficult to just say had we kicked two more goals we would've won the game. If we had kicked the goals we would have been further in front of Souths, which would have changed the way the entire games was played for the rest of the match. I think they would have been forced to just do more to try and win the game.

The biggest stat to come out of the night for mine (apart from the Loss):

Meters gained by fullback and hooker combined:

Souths- 306m
Eels - 47m

If you dummy half isn't probing, you are going to struggle. If the fb is too scared to run the ball back and won't sniff around looking for offloads, then your starting off on the back foot.

Peats has not run a lot this season. But he has still been good in defense.

Sandow did not work at fullback.

Agreed. Souths fans could come back and say that if Joel Reddy wasn't in the team, that we would have won easily!

Well you've got Watmough in your pack - I wouldn't have signed him but I can accept that he was bought to add experience. Tim Mannah has played over 150 first grade games, you've got Danny Wicks who has been around a while, as has David Gower. Nathan Peats also has roughly 75 first grade games under his belt; how much more experience do you need?

We have eight players who have played 100 games:

Champion
De Gois
Fa'aoso
Mannah
Paulo
Robinson
Sandow
Watmough

Two of those are gone for the season (with one in reserve grade) and probably four of them won't be here next year. Scott and Foran will be a huge boost, in both experience and ability.

Compare this with Souths:

Clark
Goodwin
Grant
Inglis
Lowe
Luke
McQueen
Reddy
Stewart
Sutton
Tyrrell

Why do you think Maguire bought Grant and Stewart over the off season? You've got no idea do you? You probably think those senior players come cheaply.

They can get some experience when they're ready for first grade. They can get ready for first grade in the lower grades, and at NRL squad training through the week with the senior players.

So you're saying we could just hire a bunch of 250+ game veterans to train with them. They wouldn't even need to be on the cap. Or take the field. Works for me.
