Season defining game this week.

If we win - we've gone back to back, heading into a rep season where we will not be overly represented. Currently we are just 4 points out of the 8 so can save the season from here. Reasonable draw from here for a while - Dogs, Eagles (No Troboyovic), Raiders, and 2 byes. (unless we let the bye's go out to a 20 point lead and we can't reign them back??)

If we lose - we deserve the spoon and the coach deserves the arse......

I agree and as I've said. I'll be watching HOW they go about it. If they win and do it good structure, the forwards do their job and we have a good kicking game for 80 minutes I will start feeling confident. If they win just because it's the knights I won't.

I don't care what the salary cost is, something like that is terrible for morale. Cut him loose and deal with the consequences later.

It is ridiculous that the club is trying to hide that he is on the outer with us still. First Griffin lied to us. Now we keep naming him as if he is some chance at playing... and honestly the only reason we would use him this week is if we had 4 injured players and had to use all 4 reserves that we named. Although even then we might be able to get an exemption to pick from outside the 21 named.

If he did what we think he did, he obviously can't be anywhere near our first grade team. So you can't really blame the club for that. But FFS just admit his future no longer lies with us and be done with it.

Whatever money he was going to be on next season can go toward keeping Corey Harawira-Naera and maybe upgrading someone like May, Clark etc. who is not yet part of our top squad. Not sure if they will be part of our top 30 or not... but they easily could be. No need to go buy any other player unless a decent hooker becomes available. But hopefully if that happens he just gets whatever Rein is on and his spot in our top 30.
