This season when teams complete at a decent level and don't give us cheap penalties they beat us comfortably. When they play like we have been playing all year(which only shit teams do) we can put points on. So we are relying on teams playing poorly to win.
If we complete 23/24 sets most halves we will trouble good teams too. Getting that to happen as the norm not the exception is the problem
Exactly, I agree 100 percent. Our issues are easy to see. A coaches job is to address these issues, they get paid well to do so. I don't know what the fix is but I know whatever Griffin is trying to do has not worked up until the last 40 minutes of footy we played. That 40 gets him a bit of leeway but if the issues return then he has to do more than just tell the boys to not drop the ball, give away penalties and miss tackles. I could do that for free. Coaches need to find a way to get the players to actually respond to this message, if they cant do that then they are not a good coach.
The question then becomes how to change it and is Griffin capable of it.
Edit: More importantly, how long does he get to show he can fix it before it's decided he's wasting a top 4 roster?
Spot on. For me he has had more than enough time. Knights and bulldogs are our next two games, both teams are struggling, if we cant put in 80 minute performances we are just wasting our time.

According to this http://www.nrl.com/stats/telstrapremiership/playerstatistics/tabid/10877/default.aspx
Moylan has 16 errors. TMM/Bryce 16. Wallace 9. Cleary 7.
How many top 4 teams have spines with so many errors?
Yeo our best forward has 7. Off the top of my head all were off short balls like he caught 2 of on the weekend.
2 test players in Whare and DWZ has 15 between them.
In the end the coach will be blamed and probably unemployed if we don't make the finals. I am sharing the blame with under performing players as well

Ad lib attack can be attributed to a lot of those errors. Pushing the pass when it should be held, miracle balls hoping for line break or try.
There is a time and a place for those balls usually with 5 minutes to go if you are down by a couple.
Patience is something that needs to be learnt and mastered with.
At first we don't succeed try again don't throw magic ball and the game plan out the window. That is something we have been guilty of this year. Too much.
Bryce had been passing to Yeo close to the line the past 3 weeks and every time he knocked on, or missed the ball or was crunched in defence. last week it finally came off. The timing was right.
Practise makes perfect and so does patience.
We are one of, if not the most, predictable one out from the ruck slow hit up teams in the league. The reason we make mistakes is because the defence is up the arse of our playmakers and wide receivers as soon as they dare to look at the ball.Ad lib attack can be attributed to a lot of those errors.
I think this is mainly due to Wallace's slow service from dummy halfWe are one of, if not the most, predictable one out from the ruck slow hit up teams in the league. I don't, I don't think there's anything wrong with how fast he clears the ruck after the ball is played.I think this is mainly due to Wallace's slow service from dummy half
They put a poll in the Knights forum and unanimously voted a Knights 13+ win. I like their enthusiasm. If we can continue that second half we will be hard to beat.

LOL, 1 vote.
I don't think many of us expect a win but it's nice to dream.
