They were never going to name him on Tuesday. As others had said Ivan tries to hide such moves

Yeah I wouldn’t expect him named in the 13. Just giving my opinion that he really should be able to get a spot in the backline over Aekins and Mwz, against the titans no less.

MWZ is a winger and a waste if Burton is there. Need ball work sessions to work out how Burton fits into that side

Exactly. However, I doubt Ivan will do that. Playing him off the bench, where at times, when he was named at 14, Burton got zero minutes.

Kenny can't play 80 mins. So all the bench will play this week
Earlier in the year Aekins was starting with Crichton off the bench.. could do that if unsure how Burton covers it

So even the bench is gametime for him

What about the times Burton was named 14 and he got zero minutes? This could be another case like that.

I think Laurie at F/B

Burton centre next to Mansour.

Naden to wing next to Crighton they are building a good combo.

May will come on at hooker to give Kenny a spell.

I have a feeling in my waters.......

Rumour has it, that Burton has trained in the fullback, halves, and centre, positions, so the ball work sessions has been done.

Doesn't mean it works with this combination. What if they want Crichton fullback and are playing around with the rest? It isn't as simple as adding one player in when so many are out

Ballwork is done at each and every session (except of course recovery which is generally done in the pool)

Also perhaps doesn't happen at captains run either.

I can see the attacking structure changing slightly to fit in with the injuries.

You have lost me?

Each training season the players do weights, ball and skill work it's part of the normal routine. With players being in and out with injuries and the like, you can't do it once or twice and hope it remains OK. It continually evolves the same as the game plan. To fit with players and injuries. Also the team that they're playing.

He has been doing that since preseason, according to the rumours.
