That explains why they were gassed at the 70 minute mark.

Exactly. Also considering we had only 44% percent of the ball. It was a remarkable effort.

Can I also complement Yeo last night, did a lot of dirty work at centre, didn't let anyone down either. Yeo actually has a little bit of toe in space.

While Yeo was terrific, can't help but think it was a real opportunity missed not giving Aekins a run at centre last night.

Yeah I noticed he would go looking for work if nothing came his way. Good attitude.

Yeah just watched his post game interview, he didn't say much as he was in tears, its refreshing to see these kids relishing these chances to play after some of the pissweak efforts the team has served up this year.

Id much rather watch guys like Naden, Kenny, Too Martin etc than watch rep players underperform and sulk even if it means losing more.

Waddell charged with a headbut on Martin. https://publish.twitter.com/?query=https://twitter.com/PenrithPanthers/status/1134268472563625986&widget=Tweet

2 match ban. Yet Manly got the penalty. I think a please explain should be in the mail from Penrith.

Refs binned Luai for a slap and let that go with barely a mention. The penalty against Martin for the dangerous throw was warranted, but Waddell should of been given a 10 minute breather for that shit.

Like someone else said he(and us) are lucky he didn't try that on Jack, I daresay they'd both be out of the game if that was the case. We need Martins temperament to rub off on Jack then he would be a hell of a first grader.

To be fair to Waddell I don't think he actually meant it. Pulled him in by the collar & then panicked when he came to quick at him & tried to brace himself.

Possession was pretty even at half time. As is the Cummins way, he didn't let us have the ball in the second half.

And while they're at it, they can explain how an offside player can be impeded on the line.

It didn't say. It just was saying we have a full 30 with Too coming in and that Naden and Kenny might not be able to play next week depending on injuries. Given that Cleary said the same I thinks its probably right.

We do have 30 on books. May stood down though so technically have 29

Are we in the process of attempting to get excemption for him. That might be a way to get Kenny into top 30.

Who else was very very impressed with Martin last night. He only did 58 tackles that's all. And a try.

I don't know if the NRL has even told us or Dragons how it works. Last week they said Dragons have $275k to spend but never saw how they go about using it

He meant to put his head in his face the way they do these days IMO but I don't think he meant for martin to get pulled in so fast or for it to look like a headbutt. It was one though whether he meant it or not he instigated it.

3 hookers in the top 30 though.

I guess Kenny you could you use in the backrow and he would kill it. But outside backs are an issue as well.

That is what I took Ivans comments too mean. Kenny is a fit for May but not for DWZ
